and son Jake is born at a time of domestic tension. Jamie - a handsome failed musician - loses his job and Julie becomes the full time breadwinner while Jamie takes on the role of house husband. Jake grows up loving his father but resenting his often absent mother. A new pregnancy is the final straw. Bewildered and lost Jake is threatened by the new arrival he fantasises about the life he should be having without his baby brother. Soon the fantasies turn into reality. Meanwhile events take a tragic twist as Jamie has his fortune told and is warned that he will have an affair but only shortly before he dies! Drawn inexorably towards his fate he falls in love with mysterious stranger Kate (Amanda Mealing) and embarks on an affair. But as events draw to their dramatic conclusions both Julie and Jamie realise just how dangerous it is to play games with fate. Jake's Progress began life as part of Alan Bleasdale's aborted 700-page novel that also spawned GBH and was written specifically for the series' two leads Robert Lindsay and Julie Walters.

I would just like to write a review on perhaps John Bunyan's most famous classical book of all time, that being The Pilgrim's Progress. As we are all aware no doubt of the actual storyline, I won't go in to it in too much detail but for the purposes of being on here then here is a little run down on it.
Christian is the main character in the book, and he leaves behind his family (or so we are led to believe) along with the City of Destruction in order to find salvation. He travels throuhg a difficult journey that takes in places such as the Great Despair; the Delectable Mountains and Vanity Fair, to eventually arrive at the Celestial City.
In the second part of the story, his wife Christiana allows follows theh same path but is guided in her journeyings by the Great Heart. As I have only read the children's version in the past, I ...
Advantages: Great Milkshakes, Fabulous Vibe! Disadvantages: Price, Too Small, Only One Of Them In The World
Escape from the busy streets of Headingly, and step back in time to a 1950's style milkshake bar - Shaky Jakes!
In A Nutshell
Shaky Jakes is a small cafe in Headingly, Leeds, and they specialise in making milkshakes out of chocolate bars, biscuits, fruit and sweets. The style of the cafe is very retro! You get a very relaxed, cool vibe when you enter the shop. They have over 200 different options for you to choose from, which is great! They also deliver locally!
The Good
The milkshakes are lovely and the few staff that work there are very friendly! You are given a free card where you collect a stamp each time you buy something, and when you get 8 stamps you get a free regular milkshake of your choice. The variety of drinks available are fabulous, anyone for a 'Parma Violets and Mustard with a chilli topping' (note that ...
Advantages: A couple of tracks are quite enjoyable. Disadvantages: The album on the whole is really rather disappointing.
'In With The Out Crowd' is the most recently released album from Less Than Jake. At two years old it isn't exactly 'brand new' any more, but the newest nonetheless and will remain so until they release their eighth studio album later this year. It is my least favourite of all of the albums from the Floridian Ska Punk band Less Than Jake and in truth is not one that I hold in particularly high regard at all. That said, it is by no means a bad album, it's just not a great one.
The album is really rather lacklustre and none of the tracks present are particularly exciting at all. The first single lifted from this album was 'Everything Is Overrated' for example which in itself is a really average track. The sad thing is that it is probably one of the highlights from the album and nothing really shines through too much. All twelve tracks ...
