High octane adrenaline pumping action, comic interplay, kung-fu king superhero, and two extremely sexy women. This is the perfect setup for what is an enthralling film.
The general plot will be familiar to most fans. Jackie plays a special agent who is part of an annoymous team involved in the recovery of a high impact and highly destructive explosive material. Jackie, and his crew are then left, betrayed. He and 10 others are left in peril in an unpiloted military helicopter spinning to its destruction.
Chan is able to escape with his life is knocked unconcious as he falls from the copter to the South African jungle below. He is then rescued by the local tribesman and restored to adequate health. He is however left without his memory. this of course, funnily enough is the link with the title. bet you didn't see that one coming. 'Who am I'.
Jackie who is the only survivor of the copter incident is believed to be aware of the details of the secretive highly explosive material. He is then pursued by rogue FBI agents through Africa and onto Amsterdam. After meeting a fantastically beautiful female rally driver and assisting her in winning the African Grand prix Rally race. The two become friends. They are then both pursued by an equally beautiful reporter, who ends up as being an FBI agent. She, however is one of the good guys, but Jackie doesn't know who to trust and this leads to some confusing interplay between characters.
Jackie who becomes more and more unaware of who to trust has to make on his own in the end. He infiltrates the holding offices/base of the explosive material device, and steals the coding disk which operates the device. The fight scenes are spawned. Not only are they of a lightning speed, but have a comic edge which is hillarious. Don't get me wrong - they are not just comic. The seriousness of some of the fights later on are highly appropriate, and completely breathtaking. Chan - as in his other films, uses simlar methods to beat his enemies. Using the environment around him, i.e chairs, sandbags, and even clogs! Chan is able to battle through even when his competitors look to have the edge.
All in all the film, is action throughout. The confusion and complexity of the plot works well with the Jackie Chan style and it rates up there with the best. If you like this - check out some of his other films. Rush Hour, Rumble in the Bronx, Police Story 1,2 and 3, Mr Nice Guy, First Strike and the newly released Shanghai Noon.

Advantages: Plenty of action, more of Chans signature comedic martial arts fight scenes Disadvantages: Plot is somewhat unoriginal, supporting cast are alright but not brilliant
