Advantages: Slapstick humour mixed with innovative action! Disadvantages: Slightly Clichéd storyline! May ruin the movie for many!!!!!
...This movie is another good Chan film...sounds cliché (i know). However I always mean what i say. Jackiechan shows that he can do action, romance, comedy (obviously slapstick) all in one movie. The friendships and father-son relationships are well developed.
However just as I thought that his romance with a girl was going to bloom, it was left halfway during the film when JackieChan goes to save the day once again.
Plot summary: Dragon Ho (JackieChan) and his best friend Cowboy (Mars) travel to save some special ancient Chinese artifacts ( an old favourite Hong Kong storyline during JackieChan's era as a classic martial arts hero.) ...Everyone loves watching a bit of reality TV. I've never been one to watch Big Brother or anything like that but watching people risk their money for potential businesses is more up my street. Advantages: Excellent cast, great fights and conveys a great deal of realism. Disadvantages: Some fabricated events.
...was a poisonous drug that was planted by a triad gang. I watched these pathetic films growing up, which all suffered from horrible acting, terrible storylines and unforgivably awful fight scenes.
Dragon the Bruce Lee story came out in 1993 and is far removed from the previous biographical movies that have been made on Bruce. Dragon depicts American-born Bruce as he returns to America following troublesome teenage years and looks to carve out a career for himself. After obtaining a University education, and starting a Kung Fu school, we see the development of Bruce's TV and movie career. However, along the way, we see how his Martial Arts training comes to aid him as he has to overcome enemies and opponents during his journey.
I am one of Bruce Lee's greatest fans - I have seen every film hundreds of times and watched and read many...
