Advantages: Hilarious throughout, lengthy performance Disadvantages: Lacking in extra features
JackDee has been one of Britains finest stand up comedians for the best part of ten years. His deadpan style makes for a real distinctive show which you're unlikely to find anywhere else, at least, not performed as well as this.
With an uncanny eye for picking out mundane aspects of our everybody lives, Jack delivers an acute take with his own intrepretations and solutions to some of our problems. Having matured from his early performances somewhat, Jack had just entered his 40's at the time of the show and his older age fits in perfectly with the deadpan style which he utilizes so effectively.
Filmed at the HammersmithApollo, Jack runs us through 80 minutes worth of material which will have you giggling at first and laughing on the floor in the later stages as his tone really takes over. He comes across as a depressive grumbler ...
Advantages: Great performance, snappy, laugh a minute Disadvantages: Background scenery very bright
JackDeeliveagain is the latest stand-up performance from the synical comedian. Once again hes playing the HammersmithApollo to a packed out audience after a 100 date sell out tour. Fans of Jack\'s earlier work will be anticipating a dead pan send up of everyone and everything and they wont be dissapointed. Time and againJack draws laughs out of his audience from subjects you never thought you would find funny.
Wether hes talking about cold calling, waiting at the chemist, being stuck on a mountain, or even your childs homework, Jack will have you clutching your sides and doubled over in hysterics. In this 2005 performance he goes to even greater lengths to make you laugh, scraping the very bottom of the barrel for everything about life he hates and moulding it into a perfectly timed and delivered routine.

Advantages: Almost two hours of hilarious comedy Disadvantages: No bonus features
reviewer's humble opinion).
The show is packed full of hilarious moments, far too many for me to go into here, but one of my particular favourites is the encore at the end. Anyone who's ever watched Jack's 'Live At The Apollo' on BBC will be familiar with the concept. Basically, Jack gets the audience to write him messages, which he then reads out. Again, Jack's skill in terms of comedy timing and delivery really show through here and I thought this bit was as funny as the rest of the show, even though it was the audience providing the 'jokes', not Jack himself.
The rating of 15, I think, is appropriate considering the language Jack uses. I would say Jack's swearing is quite mild, but certain people may found some of the particular words he uses in places offensive. Jack certainly doesn't swear as much as some other comedians, but you ...
