Independence day is about a signal found coming from the moon and the US army have gone up to find what it is and have come across an alien ship and start firing at it but doesn't work. The character that Will Smith plays finds out about sector 52 and wants to know what it is and finds out its a alien ship like the one that the big alien mother ship has got. The alien ship sends some of its little ships to fire at earth and Will Smith gets in a ship and brings one of the alien ships down and drags the alien to the nearest army base.
Will Smith meets this intelligent man who is good with computers and lets the army know that to get into the mother ship to plant a bomb is to give it a cold using a computer. Will Smith and this man take the alien ship into space and the army and a few civillians take some ships of theres to give Will Smith and the man a clear run to the mother ship to plant the cold and the bomb and bring the mother ship down. When they won the battle the president makes a statement that they will make the day Independence day.
I really like this film because it's about alien life and the film stars Will Smith who is gorgeous. The characters in this film were a great choice and the graphics were brilliant.
