soundscapes that were first heard on Ginuwine's "Pony", one would expect Timbaland's Indecent Proposal to employ the same hit-making formula, right? Well, yes and no. On Timbaland's third release with rhyme collaborator Magoo, his drum programming and beat structures continue on their funkified futuristic trajectories on "Humin", an ode to club hoppers who forget to use their Listerine, and "People Like Myself" with its off-kilter Middle Eastern samples. However, the jury's been out on the nasal-toned, Q-Tip sound-alike Magoo since 1998's Tim's Bio and Tim's commitment to introduce a re-tooled Magoo to the rap public's jaded consciousness is part of the problem with this release. As the featured emcee on a large bulk of the tracks, Magoo's mic skills get outclassed most of the time by invited guests such as Jay-Z and Tung Twista on "Party People" and Ludacris on "Considerate Brother." Magoo's shortcomings notwithstanding, Indecent Proposal is a must purchase for many reasons. It provides contemporary beatmakers with some more lessons in futuristic beat construction (peep "Indian Carpet"); there's a hot collaboration featuring singer-songwriter Beck on a duet with the late Aaliyah ("I'm Music") and more lovely ballads by Aaliyah ("Love Me"). Lastly, Tim claims that he will not be releasing any more albums after this one so here's your chance to cop the last full length recording from one of the most eclectic producers in the contemporary rap and R&B game. --Dalton Higgins

The story: Dave and Dianne are a married couple, Dave is an architect, and has had a dream to build his dream house forever, and so when the perfect piece of land comes up in Diannes estate agenency, the chance occurs.
Work begins, but months later, the building market dropped, and Dave loses his job, and work grinds to a hault on the house, but when the bank call in the mortgage which paid for the land, Dave and Diane are about to lose their home as well as their land, Dave lends 5000$ from his father, but its 45000$ too little, and so a trip to Vegas is in order to make the extra money.
When they arrive, Dave hits the casinos and Diane goes looking at some way too expensive dresses. Its here that Diane meets John Gage, a notorious Billionaire- when he sees Diane he's awe struck and offers to buy her the 5000$ dress she is looking at, but she tells him she is not for sale and goes back to meet her husband.
With a little luck and some tough playing, they make 25000$ in just one day, and decide they only need another day to make the rest of the money they need. But the next day doesn't go as planned, and instead of making money, they lose everything they made the revious day and end up with even less than they started with. But upon a coin flip, they decide to go and use the last of their money and try and make the rest of the money they need.
When they go back to the casino, they see John Gage again throwing his money away on a game of Poker, they stand by and watch, when Gage spots his beauty from the day before and asks if he can borrow her for luck, Dave tells her it could be fun and off she goes, winning Gage over 1000000$, he takes the couple out to celebrate that night- but thats when things get strange...
John Gage asks Dave and Diane the one thing you can never imagine, he aks them if he can buy Diane for 1000000$ for one night with her, the couple are horrified and Gage tells them to sleep on it...
But will they or won't they? And if they do, can their relationship survive the pressure of her sleepign with another man- even if it will solve all of their money problems...
The film is ok, but I don't know I just can't see it as been beliveable at all, Gage wants to buy Diane simply because she said she couldn't be bought. But I can't see someone like Gage wanting someone who looked like Diane...she was dressed in daudy clothes, with messy hair, and not looking spectacularly desirable...and certainly not worth 1000000$, and no married couple I know would let the wife sleep with someone else for any amount of money!!!
I found the film a little boring too, it didn't grab me, the acting wasn't all that good either. Like I said I'm not a fan of Demi Moore in anything she does but in this I certainly wasn't impressed. I definitely wouldn't watch it again.
Advantages: Great story, excellent acting Disadvantages: None from me
Well when it comes to letting hubby pick the film I usually know what I am getting as 90% of the time it stars John Wayne but I did get a pleasant surprise when he chose this one. Now this film is not one which I was too keen on seeing, I don’t know why but I didn’t know anything about it so when it was on the TV he Sky + it for me. I have to say that I was very impressed and surprised by it. I must state that this is a FILM ONLY review as we watched ... ...David meet when they are in college and soon they become a couple. Advantages: Good look at the corruption of money Disadvantages: Film doesn't click
Wow! This film really has been slated through the years. It is a 1993 romantic thriller, directed by Adrian Lyne and starring Robert Redford, Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson in a triangle of a relationship. It showcases the financial greed we have as human beings and the power money can wield, at the same time as examining the heartache this can also lead to.
David and Diana Murphy are childhood sweethearts who have tied the knot and dream of having ... ...his own dream house. After a get rich scheme fails, they meet billionaire John Gage, who offers them a milloion dollars for one night with Diana. After a night of tussling with a decision, the couple finaly agree, but could not be prepared for the ensuing emotinal rollercoaster this causes.
The clever thing about this film is in the portrayal of the characters. At the beginning of the film, David (Woody Harrelson) is shown as the most perfect man ...

Advantages: Glenn Close's outstanding performance, some ok production values Disadvantages: Cliched storty, weak supporting cast, ridiculous twists, HORRIBLE ENDING
. Knowing that this is a film directed by mainstream erotica French director Adrian Lyne (UNFAITHFUL, INDECENTPROPOSAL), I wasn't shocked to discover that the sex scenes were hardly subtle. However, I was also disappointed by the performances of a highly capable cast, not including Close's truly impressive portrayal of a woman on the verge of insanity.
Quite honestly, I'm sure I'm going to put this film in my list for the Top Ten Overrated Films of All Time; I just don't see (and understand) what all the fuss is about with FATAL ATTRACTION. It if it weren't for the stars, this could have easily been one of those countless, Grade Z, direct-to-video erotic thrillers that literally overrun the video shelves. While I will say that the version with the original ending is superior to the theatrical version, the film as a whole was a major ...
Advantages: Sanjay Kapoor's acting, the twist in the story Disadvantages: At 2 hours 27 minutes most of you will find it too long
"Sauda - The Deal" stars Sanjay Kapoor as Vijay, Preeti Jhangiani as Devika, Aryan Vaid as Sameer and Suman Ranganathan as Monica. It was released in September 2005 and was both produced and directed by Jai Prakash. The music for the film is by Anand Milind (don't buy the album)?
On reading the DVD cover of this film I had a sense of déjà vu, the story summary sounded very similar to IndecentProposal from the early 90s. Hmmm, well I liked that film well enough, so let's see how Bollywood has dealt with this storyline. The tagline for the film is "The dark side of human society".
