Review:

In The Name Of The King has a really great story and follows a similar plot to that of the well known trilogy 'The Lord Of The Rings' with constant twists and turns in the script it will definately keep your attention all the way through and having an all star cast has really paid of as there are very few scenes that are badly casted. All of the performances from the cast are really good but Ray Liotta's role as Gallian in particular really does stand out maikng it almost look as though the part was especially made for him and he does really seem to enjoy it too which adds extra impact, also Jason Statham's part as Farmer was really well played and again did really suit him.

The special effects were really good as well and effects such as Merrick teleporting himself do look coonvincing and when Gallian takes control of his Krug soldiers you get to see what the Krug see but from Gallains perspective which is also really well done and is a great touch the only thing effects wise that even comes close to letting this film down are the costume designs of the Krug which when seen alone at the start do look kinda lame but when you see hundreds of them together they do start to look more convincing.

The soundtrack used is really fitting of an epic adventure fantasy film and really helps buid tension when needed and again helps set the scene for the many battles that come to pass as well as highlighting the mysteries of the various areas in which the film is set.

Overall In The Name Of The King is really well made has a great story and will keep you entertained for hours and as such is well worth buying as it is a film that you can watch again and again.
