In Search Of Vespa - Vespa Scooters (DVD)

Advantages: Comfortable, really good looking and really reliable.
Disadvantages: The Vespa is pretty heavy apart from that its an all round great scooter.

...Vespa Granturismo 200, if you are looking for a really reliable bike (scooter) then this is the one to buy. My dad and I (aged 14) go to the Isle of White scooter rally every year on one and have been going for 3 years now. The Vespa is very comfortable and is all through the journey. I travel over 300 miles in one journey on it and i can happily say it is very comfortable. The Vespa handles really well round town or just cruising up the motorway. It easily keeps up with the traffic. But the Vespa is pretty hard to handle when being pushed as it is so heavy. The Vespa is heavy but you can not tell its weight when riding it. I would say it is one of the best looking modern scooters today. Vespa have brought some of the classic looks for the good old Vespa's i.e P200E, PX200, Rally and so on into the Vespa Granturismo. Advantages: 70 MPG
Disadvantages: It is dangerous due to the fact of size and light weight.

...In the old days the most popular scooter named VESPA or Lambretta. These scooters are made in Italy and if they are well maintened they could last for ever. In our days they are several scooters made in China which they are like toys and lasts for real short time.. What is a scooter? it's the transition between a Motorcycle and a lighter street legal which is less than 50 CC, required no license or insurance . They are per say street legal, cannot be driven in highways and their speed will not aceed 35 to 40 miles . Scooter is light and the most could weight is about 120 lbs or 65 Kilo. The old days scooters must mix fuel with oil and they had special section in all gas stations which they do the mix for scooter owners. ...In India we used to get the masked brand of vespa until some ten years back. Of course they are genuine in Vespa parts and spares but a different brand , however I managed to get this Vespa in a second hand deal, it was by then in a still good condition, I gave it for a single auto service to clean up any faults. It's now almost a brand new baby. Its a 200 cc with good pick up and a mileage of 25* km/L, its robust with steel body and with always a good space for luggage and you have the disc brake on the front and drum on the rear. The major benefit of its use in larger towns is it is small, you could squeeze through the traffic, which I do in India. Good mileage and It's friendly to students pocket who wants to own a Vespa.I have great control on handling it. I love the Vespa name and its wheels.... Read review
