Coming Close to Ecstasy With Little Sign Of Fumbling?
Review of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - Sarah McLachlan by  Hishyeness

Advantages: Accomplished. Atmospheric. Evocative. Stunning vocals.
Disadvantages: None to speak of...

...stood the test of time and remain firm favourites with her fans fifteen years on. The dominant theme of the album ? and the common thread that binds most of the songs together, is that of longing - a dignified, restrained and understated longing for love ? unrequited, obsessive and romantic ? and for self-awareness. FTE comes in two versions. The standard 1993 album release (£4.98 on Amazon) and the ?Legacy Edition? released for the album?s fifteenth anniversary in 2008 which includes two additional discs ? ?The Freedom Sessions? (also available separately) and the ?Fumbling Toward Ecstasy Live? DVD (£17.09 from the same e-tailer). This review deals with the 1993 version only. The fold-out booklet in the CD contains a full set of song lyrics in the artist?s own handwriting. SELECTED TRACKS FTE is full of hidden gems... Read review

~ The Power of an Immortal ~
Review of Blade (DVD) by  blackmagicstar4

Advantages: Excellent special effects, Great narrative, good character development
Disadvantages: None

...~ The Power of an Immortal ~ Blade is a Vampire action film starring famous actor and a personal favourite of mine Wesley Snipes. It was interesting to know that Wesley as well as starring in the film helped produce it. It is based slightly on the Marvel comic of the character Blade but has been changed to make a dark and sexy film. There are many differences between the comic character and the film. I first saw this film when it was first realised on video and my auntie was babysitting at the time. I?ve always been a fan of vampire films and this didn?t disappoint. I know own this and the other two in the trilogy on DVD box set and I never get bored on them. I am also a fan of Stephen Dorff so having both actors in this film just did it for me. ~ INFO ~ Director- Stephen Norrington I hadn?t heard of Stephen Norrington... Read review

wake up!!! Time to die
Review of Immortal (DVD) by  earlofaldgate

Advantages: only 102 minutes long
Disadvantages: muddled storyline

...Plot Summary It's the future, 2095, and a mysterious pyramid is floating above New York. Ancient Egyptian God Horus is given 7 days to spend on Earth before his immortality is taken away from him by Anubis. Horus spends his time trying to locate a blue skinned woman with memory loss so he can breed with her and continue to live in another form. To do this he leaves a trail of bodies in his wake as he searches for a suitable vessel to inhabit, finally settling on the rebel Nikopol who has recently escaped from detention. THE STORY Erm ???. other than the outline above, I couldnt really follow what was happening Opinion I picked this film up from a recommendation on the internet movie rental site I use. It was billed as an intriguing Sci-fi mystery with a good twist at the end - well, that taught me to trust just one... Read review
