Hyper Street Racing DVD

...This dvd is mainly about driving very fast through the streets of stockholm, also has extra footage of motor car events across sweden, and has car reviews. This dvd has a few problems, the main feature not only is not very long, has poor camara footage and very little diffrent camara. The dvd also has extra footage of events with better camara work, also which has great background music. This mainly sees cars go round tracks, burouts, drag racing. The menu has big problems with the fact that the box promises a music video and credits which are not in the dvd or on the menu at all, which was poor producing. Overall this dvd has a poor main feature but makes up for it a lot in extra footage, allthough all these problems it's not too bad!!... Read review

Advantages: cars and action

.... The cars, some of Japans finest, line up on the grid with Dom (Vin Diesel), an ex-con who rules the current races and Ja Rule, who brings his only appearance in the film to a dismal but funny first acting role. The special effects of this scene still amaze me even though they seem to only last about 30 seconds in total. Throughout the viewer is brought to experience the bitter rivalry between various street racing based gangs, and Dom. Towards the end of this disappointing film it seems evident that the action has been constant, but as i later found out on the DVD there were various scenes cut out, which i thought could have added to the plot of a 'could'a, would'a, should'a' film in the case of the producer and the director. In saying overall this film was disappointing, i did find that i did buy the dvd which i think is a good buy... Read review

Advantages: One for the guys and the girls
Disadvantages: Can get a little lost in the story at times

...The first of the 3 fast and the furious films.. with amazingly cool suped up cars that would make anyone green with envy. The film is based around illegal street racing but this particular one involves a group of hijackers which target trucks for their cargo of expensive electronic equipment the police have nothing much to go on so send an undercover cop in to try and find out some more intomation and begins to work at a local auto parts company he has a suspision that a local gang car racers are behind the thefts and tries to befriend them by getting involved with street races. As O'Connor gets close to top street racer Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) he starts to make friends within the street racing community and falls for Dominic's younger sister Mia (Jordana Brewster).
