Advantages: Makes you think, good story Disadvantages: complicated, not really enjoyable as such
the back of a detective's car at the crime scene, we are shown the yellow police tape but little more at this point.
The film then follows the life and trials of the characters for 24 hours prior to the crash and the prejudices each and every one of them has. From the DA's wife automatically thinking any black man is about to rob her to the black carjacker who thinks he is above the law and holier than thou as he only steals from white people...their logic is astounding!

Some guys get all the luck. I want his job. I was in the DVD store, casting about for a decent actioner to take home for the extended family to watch (my in-laws have a projector and I was looking for ?big screen? material for movie night) when Eagle Eye caught my attention. I don?t usually rent films without knowing anything about them, but the cover blurb was intriguing ...

Advantages: Hell finally did freeze over thank God! Disadvantages: None

The dvd begins with short interviews with the band members, who were excited but very tense at the prospect of performing live again after so long. There were so many things to be rehearsed,They had an orchestra that were not quite getting the drift on one song which didnt help the overall atmosphere, plus when they rehearsed their harmonies, even though they sounded amazing, they werent up to The Eagles standards.
They had a lot of brand new material which would be heard for the first time and all this just added and added to the ever increasing tension that could be seen on each of their faces before they took to the stage, with Don Henley appearing the most tense of all.
When they took to ...
