of the DVD is that while vocals are only heard where backing vocals are sung on the original tracks, an instrument that sounds rather like a xylophone discretely plays along with the melody of what the lead should be singing in case we have forgotten the tune. This also ensures that even the tracks on here that we have never heard can be learned (while guaranteeing a few laughs).
The main drawback are the minimalist background graphics which consist of a slideshow of images of the main artist and general scenes from the 60's. While we have some great shots of Elvis in his prime, I can't help feeling I could have done better using Power Point. In addition, the lyrics do not light up as they are meant to be sung but appear as subtitles that change with each slide. I really get fedup of watching the same childrens tv programmes over and over , so last week we were in Tesco`s and we spotted this dvd for £5. It has a variety of characters on here like Thomas the Tank Engine , Barney , Oswald and Fireman Sam with a wintery theme.

The fogman
It is winter and is foggy , Cyril the fogman lays detenators on the tracks to warn the trains when there is fog.
The fat controller shows the trains a new invention a foghorn which is very noisy and the trains are really not impressed.
Cyril loses his job , Percy gets so annoyed with the foghorn because it is so noisy it makes the hillside shake and causes a landslide and is covered with rocks. The foghorn gets damaged , oh no not far away Thomas is on the track ...

Since reviewing the Platinum collection double cd i thought it would be appropriate to do the same with the Queen dvd.I dug it out of the archives,had a watch and still enjoyed it as much as i always did.Sometimes it pays to not overplay any music you have as it then tends to become a little boring.It must be a couple of years since i watched this so this is my view on what i consider to be an excellent dvd.
The design.......
This dvd case is designed in black with the now famous four band members in their traditional 'Bohemian Rhapsody' pose.The four faces bearing no hint of a smile highlighted against a dark background.Above is the title designed in silver text which stands out nicely on the black background.The back cover has the song listings in white text and again on a black background.
