Road To Perfection

Advantages: Looks fantastic, acting is great, interesting story
Disadvantages: Slightly predictable towards the end

For such a famous director, Sam Mendes has made very few films. Only two in fact; the multi-Oscar winning American Beauty and this 2002 follow-up, Road To Perdition. Although follow-up isn't really the right term, as this is completely different. I was surprised to find that this did not win any major Oscars, although it was nominated for about six, because it really is a brilliant film. I was also surprised that for such a great film, it was not advertised very well; I didn't really know anything about this film before I saw it, and I bet lots of people don't know about it at all, which is a shame. The story tells of a hit man for the Irish mafia, Mike Sullivan (played by Tom Hanks). He and his two sons have a close relationship with the godfather John Rooney (played by Paul Newman). Driving me wild-rally driving experience

Advantages: Great fun
Disadvantages: cost

,headed by the cheif instructor.Here you are given strict guidelines to adhear to,safety rules to follow and information as to your schedule.This takes around 40 minutes and is very well structured and organised. Next the fun starts... Astra Gti; My team got to start the morning off on the gravel and dirt section in the Vaxhaul Astra Gti..which may not sound that impressive,but for a novice was a whole heap of fun!!! Our instructor ran us through the handling of the car ,how to turn slide ,which gears we should be in and when, and how to bring the back end round...Then one by one we got to do a few laps of the track!! With the instructor at my side,I clambered into the car ,belted up and started the engine.............. Road to the Oscars

Advantages: Every frame, virtually
Disadvantages: Far too superb for any

problems, but his elder son has hitched along for a look. This son, Michael Jr, already reads gangster books, and is at the awkward learning-to-copy-adults-when-they-swear stage (12 years old, in this version of reality). And so, with his fervid imagination he already has doubts about what his dad does. But the events of that night prove his imagination true, and turns his world around. Dad is likewise suitably horrified - at being discovered, and drives him home speechless, as he works out how to put the message across, that what he has being doing all his adult life, although it puts the bread on the table, is WRONG.
