I've just had probably the worst Sunday night ever. I was looking forward to a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and a really scary video. The chocs and wine were great, shame about the film. The basic idea was good - a bunch of money-hungry people who will get paid 1 million dollars each if they survive a night in the house. This house of course has a sinister past. It used to be run by a mad doctor, who was killed by his patients, so of course the house is now haunted. Unfortunately, from there on its all downhill. The acting is very wooden, from the token blond bimbo, to the be-spectacled doctor. It is also quite a 'sick' film. I actually said 'yuk' outloud when the doctor looked like he was about to commit necrofilia. And as for the ending, could they have thought of anything cornier for a final line than 'and how are we going to get down from here'
Please take my advice and Don't Bother.

This is one lame film, the idea of the film makes it out to be a really jumpy and well scarey film but sadly it`s not.Even sat in the dark, alone i didn`t get a single chill down my spin or the feeling that it`s sleeping with the bedroom light on tonight.I actully had a couple of giggles while watching it,especaily the part when mr.price went into the room where the monitors are and seen that mad doctor on screen, the way that ghosty doctor walked was hillarious.A bad case of diarrhoea in the undies i think? The only thing what was scarey in this film was the bad acting.I personally would not recommend this film at all, mary poppins is more likely to give you nightmares than this.Very dissaponting
