House on a Haunted Hill has been one of my favourite films of the year. I am a horror film fan and this film did not disappoint me, it was creepy, strange and a little weird!!
There are a few twists that you don't expect throughout the film and although there aren't really any special actors in it the acting overall was great.
The film is set in a creepy old house and the scenery/sets are brilliant, really spooky. There are a few special effects in it which are all done very well.
The DVD has been a great purchase, there are loads of extras including quite a few deleted scenes. There is also a DVD ROM game which I am unable to play because my computer is a little out of date so if anyone knows what it's like I would like to know! There is a documentary about the older version of the film and a big scene access selection menu where you can choose which scene to watch including the Marilyn Manson 'Sweet Dreams' song at the end credits.
Hopefully there will be a follow up to House on a Haunted Hill because I would love to see what happens next!
