Having read the book I was pleased to find that the film doesn't veer off the storyline too much. Also as it was much approved of by Anne Rice herself, I was encouraged to watch it, and re read the book afterwards.

Advantages: Great story, wonderful sets Disadvantages: Possibly mis-casting, a little slow at times

The story continues with songs at regular intervals as King Arthur sets up the Round Table and an Order of Chivalry for the Knights meaning that they are involved in acts of goodness rather than fighting and crusades.
All is well until Sir Lancelot duLac hears about the new order and decides to come and join the Round Table. Now this was the point at which my friend, Diane, and I REALLY sat up and took notice. Franco Nero appears as Lancelot at the top...
