I liked this film a lot, it's a quality spoof of an American blockbuster style film. The village and the local behaviour of the villagers has a somewhat Midsomer Murder feel to it. I find that you get an immediate insight into the characters and they become like family friends from the start! As some other reviews may have mentioned, it's not non-stop laughter like some other films and does build up like an episode of a murder mystery series sometimes but this gives the film an interesting feeling! Great work from the actors to create a very different film to what is generally around at the moment. The only criticism (if you can call it one..) is that the film is probably based towards Brits like myself rather than American folk.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.

Hey, rated as helpful, because it gives me a slight insight, but it does not really tell me everything I might want to know. If you added more details, about the actors, who the great director is, how it compares and what movies are similair to this one for example, you would be considered very helpful. I know you just started, so all I can say, read alot of other reviews, see how they do it, and then write a review with your own twist to it. I would be happy to rerate if you add details, just drop me a line in my public guestbook :)
