ABOUT HOT FUZZ:
Nicholas Angel is one of the Metropoliton police's best Sargents. He works hard, hardly ever goes out, and likes to tend his 'peace lily'.
After having time off after a serious accident, Nicholas is called to the office, where he is told that he is 'working too hard', 'showing up the other officers' and is being moved to the country.
Sargent Angel is moved to a lovely little village called 'Sandford' where well, to be honest, there isn't much to do but go to the pub. Or so it seems.
After living in Sandford for a couple of weeks, Nicholas realises something isn't quite right. Strange things start happening, mysterious deaths occur.
It is Nicholas Angel's task to find out what is going on, seeing as no-one in the police force in Sandford takes him seriously. But will he find out the truth behind "the greater good"?
MY OPINION:
There is not one moment in this film where it lacks energy. I thoroughly enjoyed it, although you can't get the same laughs out of it if you watch it over and over again. The film does take a lot of twists and turns, and is although confusing in many places. Each charachter is unique and there is nearly always something comical said. I watched this film after watching 'Shaun Of The Dead' which i fould absolutly brilliant. I don't think Hot Fuzz quite stands up to Shaun of the dead, but it is certainally worth the watch. One disadvantage of this film is that it does go a little fast, and you probably would have to watch it a second time to get some of the jokes, although it is very funny in some places, some of the jokes are a little..well...'crap'.
Overall i thoroughly enjoyed this film, it was funny, interesting and kept you on the edge of your seat. I would definatly reccomend this film to anyone.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
