THE FILM IN A NUTSHELL!
Top city police officer Nicholas Angel is reassigned to a small village because he is outshowing all the other officers in London. At first he struggles because its a crime free village and he gets stuck with a oafish partner, but as some gruesome deaths take place he refuses to believe that they are accidents and so searches for a link between all of the deaths. Its not long before his partner danny's dreams of high speed car chases and gun fights become a reality for this crime.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS
I am a big fan of shaun of the dead and i went into the cinema dying to what this duo had brought up for us again, i enjoyed watching the film to an extent, i found that it created its own originality but i also saw some things which came straight from Shaun of the Dead.

However i do have to say i wasnt dissapointed by this film after i watched it for a second time, i found that the whole serious cop role played by Simon Pegg worked very well with the child like partner that thinks being a cop is like what you see in the films which is played by Nick Frost.

The film does have its gory moments where they used special effects to create heads and blood (alot of blood i should say). so for the faint hearted people i will say you must prepare yourself for the gore there isnt much but when there is the attention to detail in parts is amazing and is almost realistic.

there are some great actors in this film most of them are English which is great to see that they didnt stuff it full of American actors for a small English village film, some of the actors include
-Timothy Dalton
-Bill Baily
-Jim Broadbent
-Edward Woodward
-Olivia Coleman
The film is two hours long which can be abit long to some people but it never bores you so the two hours can seem alot shorter than it actually is .
4 out of 5 stars because the ending of the film seems to drag on.
