It is not only for the two great disc you may find in, but for the extra and features you will find I am suggesting you to buy this comboc Cd: it worths the value to buy it. For the suggestive sense of horrors of the past, we may see now how the sense of horror have been changing along the past years.
In this box you will find five horror movie of the past: take a step back into the past, and discover how spectators got thrilled in the past times.
All in all this combo set of two Cd is a bargain: for the suggested price you may find just one new movie, but is a b movie is what you are looking to, you should take up this opportunity and buy this set.
Advantages: 3 great films for a budget price Disadvantages: Picture quality not too good
...The films on the 3 discs are a selection of Roger Corman productions between 1960 and 1963.
Little Shop Of Horrors from 1960 is first up.A young Jack Nicholson makes an early screen appearence.
A dimwitted florists assistant discovers a mutant plant that can talk and must feed on blood to survive.
The Terror from 1963 stars Boris Karloff and Jack Nicholson (again).Nicholson follows an apparition to a castle where he finds Karloff and discovers he is an imposter.
Also from 1963,Dementia 13 marks the directorial debut of Francis Ford Coppola.Family member are being bumped off by an axe murderer. Are the murders linked to the daughters death years ago?
The three films are all entertaining and the packaging is nice but it would have been better if the films remastered.Overall though its good value for money....

Advantages: great films and retro horror Disadvantages: bad cgi
...1, 2, Freddy's Coming For You
3, 4, Better Lock Your Door
5, 6, Grab A Crucifix
7, 8, Better Stay Up Late
9, 10, Never Sleep Again...
This collection of Freddy mayhem will have you entertained for hours, from its blood soaked rooms to its humour. It changed the horror movie business when it was release and is arguably the best horror to grace our world... Freddy, Michael and Jason are the 3 icons of classic horror (with Ash a close behind).
The first time i saw Nightmare on Elm street was when I was a young kid, and that night I watched it I had a nightmare of him... He chased me to school, every kids nightmare is going to school (isn't it?).
The DVDboxset is a great buy for all you horror fans. It has every movie and some special features, I bought this around a year ago and have watched it many times...

Advantages: Christopher Lee, great imagery Disadvantages: Lots of boring dialogue
...about Lee and lots of entertaining stories. It is pretty much the highlights from his book Lord of Misrule but with footage from the films.
My DVD came with the Hammer Horrorbox-set of 21 Hammer Horror films, which I got for £25 new
Overall
To it?s detriment the film had boring dialogue, not enough Dracula and censored horror as well as a relative lack of atmosphere. In it?s favour the film had Lee as Dracula, a respectable follow-on story and great scenery as well as complying with all the usual vampire requirements with the garlic, the running water, the inviting etc and it even had a character, Ludwig, who was pretty much Renfield (except camper). Add to this the unique character that Hammer productions, Terence Fisher and Christopher Lee manage to bring to the film it manages to be quite good. It has it?s flaws and I wouldn...
