Scary Movies for everyone!

Advantages: Great value, great films
Disadvantages: no 4th film

The scary movie boxset is excellent value for money, around £30 for 3 dvds. I had watched the first one at a friends then decided to buy the boxset as the others may be just as good as the first, and they were! #1 = A masked killer (scream) sets out murdering a collage group of teenagers. ...the set doesn't come with Scary Movie 4, the latest film though this wont be too expensive to buy after. The DVD boxset comes with extras which include additional and deleted scenes on each DVD. Directors commentaries and behind the scenes footage can be found on all DVDs which help to explain how the complicated stunts worked. Embrace the rejects, hope you've got the patience!

Advantages: Has a certain appeal, doesn't shy away

Review of The Devil's Rejects (DVD)

The one that brought the scary movies down!!

Advantages: Good bits of comedy in some parts of the film.
Disadvantages: Worst out of all the scary movies and old jokes.

...am a fan of the scary movies but in my experiance from watching scary movie 4 i found some parts amusing, whereas other parts of the film were unhighly amusing and the storyline could have been better. I found scary movie 4 to be the worst movie out of the 4 films that have been made, and i would recommend you to watch the other 3 scary movies if you haven't yet seen them. House of 1000 corpses - love it

Advantages: good for horror fans
Disadvantages: if you dont like gore dont watch

I was bought this dvd for my birthday off my friend, as she knows im a great horror fan, and what a good choice of dvd. If your into gore, blood, canabilism, torture, hacking of bodies, and experimenting on bodies then this is the dvd for you. The story line kind of reminded me of the texas chain saw masachre, but that was a true story, this in some parts is very corny, but also interesting, as the story contains bits of what has happened in true life, like dr jeckyl, experimenting with the brain. Not Scary. Not Big. Not Clever.
