Cannibal Taboo
Advantages: Graphic sexual Intent Disadvantages: sexual violence of extreme kind and unpleasant to view
This is one sick sad sadistic movie nobody should see! The sleeve suggests a movie to do with Alfred packer who carried out a series of murders and related crimes in a gold mining area in 1874 but the movie has no relationship whatsoever to this and is totally and utterly misleading loaded with graphic sexual violence and is highly unsuitable viewing. the only good thing about the movie are the nice breasts appearing regularly throughout the movie ... ...at all. Quite what kevin Rapp was looking to achieve it beyond my understanding. the film is the platform for illustrating a psyopathic mother who participates as the leader in the death ritual of her coming of age children. Movies like Vacancy, The Ring, the Omen and Wrong turn are nothing compared to this. I assume it has never been certified for release at the cinema in UK or USA or any other civilzed country and thank God!! ...

An Adaption Loaded with Flaws
Advantages: Some Pretty Good Performances and CGI is Great Disadvantages: The Rest of the Performances are Forgettable, Screenplay is Goofy, and Action Scenes Have Flaws
...adaption of Anne Rice's novel Queen of the Damned.
The story revolves around a vampire named Lestat who has just awoken from a long sleep. After he awakes he meets a band and becomes their lead singer. The band becomes a huge hit and the rest of the vampires living throughout the world don't like Lestat's public profile, and decide to attact Lestat at one of his massive concerts. Lestat also meets up with the man who made him, Marius, who warns ... ...I have to be honest, Queen of the Damned is not my favorite Anne Rice novel, it wasn't a terrible novel but it wasn't great either. The screenplay for this movie is really goofy and a lot of the dialogue isn't well thought out.. The acting is pretty mixed up, some is good and a lot is bad. Stuart Townsend plays Lestat in this movie and looks nothing like the character described in the book. Usually flaws like this is saved by the actors acting but ...

the curse of the dead........
Advantages: gripping, haunting images Disadvantages: not enough blood
...of Mario Bava's other films, Kill Baby, Kill is actually a quiet ghost story. It still creates the air of suspense throughout the film, and keeps you on edge. The Plot

A FILM ABOUT A BAD HALLOWEEN COSTUME?
Advantages: Good acting Disadvantages: Everything else
This early (1958) science fiction film, is an entertaining little number. It is certainly not the best sci-fi movie I have seen but it does have something about it. The special effects are not great, it is Black & White and the story isn't brilliant either, having said that there is a surprising performance by Warren Mitchell (Alf Garnett to some of you) who plays a straight laced Professor. The acting in this film is not bad either, and once you ... ...was not as good as they are today then the film isn't that bad compared to the standards of the day. Directed by Quentin Lawrence (The Invisible Man Series).
The Story....
High in the Alps is a creature from Outer Space (well it has to be really) who decapitates it's victims whilst shrouded by a mysterious radioactive fog. In a research centre on top of a Mountain is Professor Crevett, and his team. They notice this mysterious fog and immediately ...

A Daughter of Horror Hits Skid Row
Advantages: Surreal, weird fantasy; a fascinating one-off Disadvantages: May be too weird for some
Starring: Adrienne Barrett as The Gamine Bruno VeSota as Rich Man Ben Roseman as Gamine's Father / Plainclothes Cop Richard Barron as Evil One This is one weird film - probably one of the, if not THE, very weirdest you'll ever see. Although classified on Ciao as 'Horror', it really is a one-off that defies categorisation. This 1955 production is a very dark, very surreal, very odd and somewhat disturbing film that, if there was a category called ... ...under. It has far more in common with 1920s German Expressionism and the Surrealist movement, than any modern definition of a horror film. The film consists of a series of frightening experiences a young woman encounters during one night in a bad part of a big city, after she wakes up in a cheap hotel room. There is no dialogue in the movie, just a brilliant soundtrack consisting of cool 1950s jazz, avant-garde orchestral music, and the voice of ...
