Advantages: Good acting Disadvantages: Everything else
This early (1958) science fiction film, is an entertaining little number. It is certainly not the best sci-fi movie I have seen but it does have something about it. The special effects are not great, it is Black & White and the story isn't brilliant either, having said that there is a surprising performance by Warren Mitchell (Alf Garnett to some of you) who plays a straight laced Professor. The acting in this film is not bad either, and once you ... ...was not as good as they are today then the film isn't that bad compared to the standards of the day. As more victims are discovered they discover that a new creature called a 'Silicate' has been created by the cancer research facility and is multiplying.
