From one monster to another

Advantages: The gorgeous Taylor Lautner, new monster
Disadvantages: A bit slow, didn't feel as attracted to Edward as I did in Twilight

...Reed Being a huge Twilight fan, I was so excited for the second film in the series to be released but I only just eventually got round to seeing it as there were so many people in my family who wanted to see it, it was difficult finding a time we could all do. The only part in the first film I'd found silly was when Edward first ran through the woods at his lightening vampire speed with Bella on his back. You could still see his legs moving like ...
...it would for any other Twilight fans, but for those who aren't proper Twilight fans, they may find it a bit long and slow and lacking in action. Although when the action does pop up in places, it's brilliant to watch and the way it's done in slow motion makes it really captivating. I didn't get the same feeling from the second book as I got from the film - in the first I felt kind of attracted to Edward as Bella did but I didn't find myself feeling ...

Anyone for a Bella sandwich with vampires and werewolves?

Advantages: Casting, FX, action scenes
Disadvantages: Drawn out romantic bits

...all, I woud suggest watching Twilight before watching this, as there will be a number of things that may seem confusing otherwise. Brief Plot Essentially, in a nutshell, Bella has moved to Forks, a desolately damp, rainy and gloomy town, to live with her father Charlie, the chief of police. She encounters Edward Cullen at her new school, they fall in love, she finds out he's a vampire. The first film saw a frantic chase and fight where other vampires ...
...the more impressive elements of Twilight was the FX adopted to show how the vampires move. The superspeed, the strength, the use of slow motion to emphasise these elements. All this is just as good, if not better, in New Moon, but is completely overshadowed by the superb FX used with the werewolves. It's the transformation element, and as the characters in their human form merge into their wolf forms, it's astounding. They do it 'on the fly', or ...

Prequel to Underworld

Advantages: Good story
Disadvantages: Probably not as exciting as the previous two movies

...most entertaining one from the underworld series but rather serves the purpose of filling in gaps of the story from the first and second movie, especially on the origin of the war and the vampire council. The fighting scene maynot be as exciting/entertaining as Underworld and Underworld Evolution. There is also not a lof of special effects apart from the transformation of the werewolves but I think the main focus is really on the story and the details. ...
...I was a bit disappointed with the character of Sonja, I am not sure how to put it in words. I just feel she lacks something or the kind of attention Selene has on the previous two films. I can see that they have found someone who is kind of Selene look-alike but her character and other aspects are so different. However, she is supposed to be the character who inspires Viktor to create Selene but she is so much different to Selene. ...

...these slaves are unable to turn into werewolves because of the iron collar they are forced to wear around their necks. Unlike the original breed of Lycans who cannot revert back to human form, this new breed of Lycans that Viktor has enslaved is not only less volatile, but capable of human emotions.
