Bram Stoker would have been amazed if he knew that the stories his mother told him while he was sick in bed, would grow into one of the biggest myths and moneyspinners of the 20th century. Coppola's film is a gothic, sumptuous and rather overblown version of the novel. The Omen Pentology (Box Set)

Advantages: Fantasically shot, great value horror package
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too focused and gory for the casual viewer

The Omen Pentology is definately a collection of top quailty horror films with convincing acting and great inovative camera techniques. That said the pentology is probably best left to the horror fans. People curious about the genre might find it a bit too focused and perhaps should start with more approachable films such as 28 days later. Review of Hostel (Unseen Edition) (DVD)

Recommended for all vampire movie lovers!!!!!

Advantages: great costuming, acting, script, plot, casting of characters, etc...
Disadvantages: QUite a few things in Louis' story were changed

...when I heard about the Interview with the Vampire movie I was overjoyed and hunted down this DVD. It didn't diappoint me either; even though it changed quite a few of the details in the book.
