Blade 2 is the sequal to the fantastic blade film about a vampire that kills his own kind and also has extra resistances. In this movie Blade must team up with his age old enimies the vampires to eradicate a new foe ,a super vampire that feeds on humans and vampires before it spreads throughout the city, not sure who is on his side and who is not he also has the complicated situation of caring for one of the female vampires, his side kick whistler also ... ...a big fan of the blade series as they offer something different,in this movie i love the fact you see into the vampire world and what they get up to,the special effects are excellent in this movie with the creation of the uber vampires that have a 3 way jaw and also the dusting of vampires is also as impressive, this film isnt quite as good as blade 3 but its definatley worth watching. There are a few errors though it doesnt quite link with the first ...

He's Behind You!
Advantages: Nail-biting tension, excellent villain in Michael Disadvantages: Drags in the middle, very dated
...and over again. Halloween is rated an 18 however the film doesn’t revolve around gore like the horror films of today do, instead Halloween makes it’s mark by centralising around tension and the sheer terror that Michael Myers brings to the town of Haddonfield. Michael Myers has an eerie onscreen presence, even when he’s not actually in a shot. His presence echoes throughout the film with the use of shadows and reflections that means that even when ... ...of gut wrenching gore however Halloween remains a successful horror film based on the atmosphere that it evokes, it manages to be genuinely frightening without a hint of bloodshed to be seen. This is a really jumpy film and there are many unexpected (and expected) moments throughout which leave the film understandably predictable but the journey is very unpredictable. It’s one of those films where you find yourself shouting at the scream, urging ...

Their Thoughts Can Kill
Advantages: Classic Cronenberg horror Disadvantages: No special features, can be confusing
Scanners is an unusual movie from the now acclaimed director David Cronenberg. Before Cronenberg hit the mainstream his focus was always on horror, shining examples being Shivers and Rabid, both shot in and around Toronto and Montreal, places he considered home. On his first rise of power in the directorial stakes came Scanners, a significantly different horror movie, that seemed dated even from its release. Cameron Vale (Stephen Lack) is effectively ... ...so collecting an army of Scanners to do his bidding and get revenge on those who created them.
Scientist Dr. Paul Ruth (Patrick McGoohan) has been desperately trying to get to the bottom of Revock's power over other Scanners, and now with Cameron in his care he seeks the opportunity to send him out as a spy and end Revock's rule once and for all.
Despite the movie hailing from the very early 1980's there is little to prevent this looking like a ...

Bubba Ho-Tep review
Advantages: Original story, good chemistry between the actors Disadvantages: None
Bubba Ho-Tep is a comedy horror movie directed by Don Coscarelli (who also directed all four "Phantasm" films) and stars the legend that is Bruce Campbell!
Campbell plays Elvis, the actual, real Elvis. It seems he switched places with a look-alike (also played by Campbell) because he got bored of all the glitz and glamour and wanted to get back to his roots. Unfortunately the contract he drew up was destroyed and he had an accident that threw out ... ...back, and now spends his day in an old folk's home. He teams up with Jack (Ossie Davis), a fellow resident who believes that he is John F. Kennedy and that his skin was dyed black. Together they investigate the recent spate of deaths in their home, and find out it may be to do with an ancient Egyptian mummy, as you do. As no-one else believes them these two old codgers have to take on the entity themselves, regardless of their capabilities.
A good ...

What The Hell Happened
Advantages: dead cheap Disadvantages: dead crap
Halloween 3 is one of the weirdest things ever produced. It is from the Halloween series however it has none of the stars or the characters from it. I mean what was the point in calling it Halloween, if you ask anyone about a movie called Halloween they imediately think of Micheal Myers. The simple reason for this is, (as with most other sequels) money. The producers knew that the name alone would draw interest from the large teenage movie goers ... ...up to the legacy of halloween and the result is that the franchise has be on a downward slide ever since.
As for the film itself its rather misleading. You read the label Halloween and expect to get Micheal Myers, instead you get a mad scientist who creates robotic helpers and halloween masks that kill the wearers. I have, as yet, been unable to make any conection between this and the first two films. It isn't based in the same place and none of ...
