When Morgana, her boyfriend Eric and another guy rob an art gallery of some paintings, and kill a couple of armed security guards, they thought the worse that could happen is them going to jail...
However a bullet broke the opal containing the Djinn, that Morgana was wearing atound her neck, this leads to the Djinn, in the form of Nathaniel Demerest coming to Earth and pleading guilty to her crimes so that he can go to prison and claim the 1001 ...

Every time someone makes a wish, Demerest grants it in exchange for their soul.
He meets up with a Russian who helps to escape the prison so that he can walk the streets for easier access to the souls that he needs.

Advantages: Nice opening credit shot.
Disadvantages: Shame it doesn't end at the end of the opening credits.

There are so many confusing elements to the whole production. Unnecessary confusion too. Where is it supposed to be set? Its clearly filmed on location in Great Britain. English number plates on cars, scenes shot in some Brtish suburb somewhere, etc. They even say they are in England at the start. So why are they driving an Austrian VW van? Why is there a scene where they find a missing poster which has Miranda Police ...

Disadvantages: poor, poor film spoiled by its sheer complexity.

This Didn't Shiver My Timbers
Advantages: Raised one or two smiles, and had a decent rock soundtrack.
Disadvantages: Recycled plot, poor acting and too many flaws.
B movies are well known for there over the top acting, shoddy camera work and often nudity. My reasons for renting this however stems from my fascination with anything pirate related. Having hugely enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean, Hook, and Peter Pan, I wanted to see how this would play out. I will tell you now that it certainly didn't shiver my timbers!

Advantages: Inventive, scary, fantastic performances, quality directing.
Disadvantages: not very widely appealing
