...comedy is still on sale, the comedy itself is far away more developed that it's year of release, although this movie can only attract just two types of audiences: 1: Crazy comedies' fans or 2: Fans which seen this comedy of it's year of release. ...and although I do enjoy the Rick Moranis remake, I do adore this version. Steve Martin is brilliant in the newer one, but Jack Nicholson rivals him for comedy performance in the original. Behind the comedic plot of a giant-talking-man-eating plant that needs more meat as it grows bigger and bigger, the story is rather sad, as poor Seymour tries his best to satisy Audrey ll (the plant) and the girl of his dreams Audrey.
