A Review of Covenant movie
Advantages: great special effects Disadvantages: acting was little bit low
...good movie worth to watch. The great story line and interested.
The covenant is a film about a group of boys who have some natural powers, they all have different power as compare to each other and as the approach there18th birthdays the get stronger and more powerful can do more damage
However there powers to much has a consequence. The general view of this film seems to be that this is too similar to the craft which was about witches personally ... ...some great special effects and the story is completed in this one film, however some of the acting is a little cheesy but i don't think this film was ever made as a great masterpiece. But worth to watch this movie because this movie take your interest in it. ...

I... will you... my power
Advantages: Fantastic soundtrack and brilliant stunts Disadvantages: A little far fetched
...friend of mine suggested seeing The Covenant at the cinema when it first came out I wasn't too enthusiastic but decided to go anyway. All I can say is that I'm glad I did, as the film I saw was fantastic. The energy, power but also the empathy it created was immense and the soundtrack one of the best I'd heard in a while.
Looking at how others have rated the film however I think I may be on my own. Ok I have to admit that the story is a little far-fetched ... ...Personally I really enjoyed the film, I can't say it's one of my favourite ever films but it is certainly something I would watch again.
The Covenant tells the story of four young students in Massachusetts, known as the Brothers of Ipswich, are joined by their sacred ancestry and powers are nearing the age, 18, where they will receive powers that are far greater than those they currently hold. The powers however come with an exceptionally high price, ...

Drag Me to Hell- Will drag you to hell with its weak story!
Advantages: Decent performance from Alison Lohman, good visuals at times. Disadvantages: Weak story, illogical writing.not scary at all.
Director Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell stars Alison Lohman and Justin Long and is a horror film that made much buzz.I am not a fan of horror flicks and hardly watch any film of this genre. After hearing great things about the film i finally decided to give it a watch. And boy,was I disappointed! Christine works in a bank and is vying for the assistant manager's position when an old lady comes to her for her loan extension. When his boss tells her she ... ...to work as the assistant manager, she rejects the old lady's extension against her own will. What follows is a dreadful series of events after she is been cursed by the old lady. The film is all about the curse and how she tries to get rid of it.The devil wants to take away her soul and she has to somehow think of getting away from it. Between all this, the screen space is divided between her boyfriend and a couple of fortune tellers who try to help ...

A male version of The Craft?
Advantages: Special effects Disadvantages: Cast, story not that great.
The Covenant is a horror/thriller very much along the lines of The Craft, except this time around the main characters are male instead of female. It is also another in the recent trend of so called horrors that doesn’t have enough blood, guts or scary moments to be really classed as a horror. It is a thriller rather than a horror and as a thriller it is not to bed, although they do manage to signpost the plot very obviously with the most blatant ... ...one of those ‘stunts’ in the trailer that persuaded me to watch the film. The photography in the film is amongst the best I have seen for a long time, everything just looks incredible, but then in a movie which is mainly about the cast looking good themselves who can be surprised that the makers have put a lot of effort into making sure that everything about their movie is very, very stylish.
The story is all about the Sons of Ipswich, four 17 year ...

Amusement? More like boredom...
Advantages: Starts off okay Disadvantages: Unconvincing plot, all been done before
Three girls, Shelby, Tabitha and Lisa, are being hunted by a madman. First Shelby is waylaid by a truck-driving girl snatcher, then Tabitha is chased by a clown in her aunt and uncle's home, and finally Lisa is lured into a strange mansion looking for a friend. They were all friends in high school, but have since gone their own ways...until they find themselves together in an old house. But can they work out who it is that is chasing them and what ... ...Or are they doomed to die at the hands of this madman? Like many horrors, acting is not the strongpoint of this film. The three girls, played by Laura Breckenridge (Shelby), Katheryn Winnick (Tabitha) and Jessica Lucas (Lisa), are virtually indistinguishable, only differentiated by different hair and skin colours. Katheryn Winnick arguably has the greatest role in that she has the most screen time. As an actress, she did the job, no more, no less, ...
