A decent sequel

Advantages: Innovative and good script
Disadvantages: none

When Scream was released in 1996, I was very impressed by the satirical and self-referential style of the film. However I was sceptical when the sequel, Scream 2 was released in 1997, as I thought it was straining the idea to make additional films. Scream 2 follows on two years after the events in Scream and sees Sidney (Neve Campbell) and Randy (Jamie Kennedy) trying to lead a normal life after their traumatic experiences in Woodsboro. While attending ...
...seeing stars who are big names now, playing small roles in this film, such as Heather Graham and Sarah Michelle Gellar. It is a nice idea having a film within a film and things don’t get complicated, which is good. Fans of Scream will be pleasantly pleased with this film. ...

Meet your Nemisis!

Advantages: action packed.
Disadvantages: slightly wooly plot

...to conquer the movie world. Resident evil made a slowish start. The first film was watchable, and for a fan of the games like myself, it was entertaining. It seems, that the series is getting stronger, though, as apocalypse turns out to be a rip-roaring success. Highly enjoyable, and memorable for more than just Milla Jovavic (or, Milla yoyo-a-bit.). Yes she is a fox, but she could also kick your ass! The perfect woman! We left the last film with ...
...escape is thwarted by umbrella, the evil corporation behind the t-virus. Her friend Matt, who was the only other survivor of the hive, was also taken by umbrella, but he was taken to be in the nemesis project. Umbrella release the t-virus upon Racoon city. The city was chosen as it could be locked down, to contain the spread of the virus if need be. Then, into the zombie covered streets, the company unleashes its two champions. Good versus evil, ...

Werewolf hell

Advantages: Entertaining enough, funny at times
Disadvantages: Silly, confusing, odd characters

Orphaned brother and sister, Jimmy and Ellie, are involved in a car accident. On trying to help the driver of the other car, they witness her being dragged away by some kind of animal. Even worse, they both receive scratches from said animal, which, Jimmy later finds out, is likely to be a werewolf. Both of them start going through some strange alterations; even worse, it appears that people involved with them are also affected. In order to get their ...
...the werewolf. But just who is the werewolf in his or her everyday guise? And even if they do find out who it is, will they be able to do anything about it? The fact that this film is directed by Wes Craven was an immediate draw - I've enjoyed most of his films on one level or another. I'm also not averse to the odd film about werewolves. Unfortunately, this 2005 film has a lot of plot flaws. It isn't a terrible film, but I'm certainly not surprised ...

Run, The Zombies

Advantages: Influential and a great watch.
Disadvantages: Dated there are better zombie movies out there these days.

I doubt that when George A. Romero first created this b-movie on a budget of just $114,000, he realised it would become the inspiring and classic film it is today. Now seen as a semi-cult classic it is the king of the horror b-movies. Although it wasn't the first ever zombie movie, previous films such as Victor Halperin's White Zombie, were based on living people been controlled by a voodoo witch and were mainly set in the Carribean. Romero brought ...
...they are in todays modern cinema. With this film an entire new horror sub genre was created and Romero revealed how powerful exploitation was by setting the film in very ordinary circumstances. When the film was first released however, it was dismissed because of the graphic scenes and the gore. However, since then it has seen many imitators including The Evil Dead and 28 Days Later and has been parodied by films such as Shaun Of The Dead as well ...

The Night of the Living Dead. Muhahaha

Advantages: I want this to happen to me. IT'S FREE
Disadvantages: The woman's acting is really crap the rest were fine though

...THIS DVD I FOUND OUT THE COPYRIGHT FOR IT IS OUT-OF-DATE OR SOMETHNG AND YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT LEGALLY FOR FREE. So this is one of the original Zombie flicks. It's made in the days when zombies were zombies slow walking and murderous and a bit stupid. Not like todays versions were zombies are running all over the show making us Livies look really unfit. It's all that fruit and fibre people are eating it's affecting their afterlife and all. The plot ...

He boards up the house whilst she gets on like a wee whinging cow avoiding doing any work and then they find out some people are holding out in the basement. They then try and survive and escape etc. The main charcter Ben is great and does exactly what you want him to do (you'll see whatI mean ...
