great japanese - to american remake impressive
Advantages: a real scare and that noise it makes
Disadvantages: sarah michelle geller is in both
The grudge is a great film with karen (sarah michelle geller (buffy the vampire slayer)) in this film we follow her as she works for a car home in tokyo and a girl has gone missing so she has to take her place at the home of an american woman with dementia that only sleeps during the day we waatch as the story of the house is played out we watch as the noises start in the attic.
Karen finds a cupboard upstairs all taped up she opens it and found ...
...then goes downsatirs and phones the home she works for and tell her boss that she found a boy and he wont come down she hears a bang and goes into the room and finds the woman on the floor she puts her back into bed and then ices a black shape appearing on the ceiling she goes in to shock as womans body appears and takes all of the life of the old woman.
The film then takes us to what caused the bad spirit in the first place and we watch as a woman ...

Return to Sender (Not Quite)
Advantages: Clever, Sarah Michelle Gellar,
Disadvantages: Silly, Inconsistent, Incoheren, Disjointed
...mysteriously similar to other sin the hotel and her tendencies towards self harm are becoming increasingly dangerous. Is she going mad? Did some trauma in her past leave her incapable of grasping reality? As she start to undig the past mystery's of the town in which she finds herself and starts to unravel the trauma of her past, she must chose her friends wisely, fight the supernatural forces at work and heal the relationships which have broken down ...

The Return is a sleepy thriller dipped in creepy Southern atmosphere; it's like a lazy, hazy Texas day.... hard work, makes you feel lethargic but eventually quite satisfying. The screenplay is riddled with useless plot twists, there are some serious pacing problems and it doesn't make a lick of sense, but it is refreshing to see a horror ...

The Return... of what exactly?
Advantages: None.
Disadvantages: Slow-paced - drawn-out - flimsy storyline - empty characters

Buffy has Potential
Advantages: Great episodes, great plot arc
Disadvantages: The Potentials!
After seven years, Buffy the Vampire Slayer finally came to an end in 2003 with its seventh season. Well - on the television anyway - hardcore fans will know that season eight is currently being released in comic book form!
But that's not what I'm reviewing here - that honour goes to the final televised season of Buffy. With such a long and successful series, you'd expect it to go out with a bang - and that's what it does, in a big way.

...After her depression last season, Buffy seems a lot happier - at the start of the season anyway. Spike spends a lot of his time going a little bit crazy from his new soul, and for another reason...
Anya must deal with the ramifications of returning to her vengeful ways and Willow has to try and get past the darkness she found in season six. Xander and Dawn are rather superfluous in season seven, but they're pretty much a constant in all episodes.
