Watch if you're a King fan

Advantages: Interesting and unusual story
Disadvantages: No real "pizazz"

This movie didn't have me on the edge of my seat, I've read the book before so I knew basically what to expect in terms of story and the movie didn't go on to surprise me. It pretty much followed exactly the original printed version. The characters were all fairly well portrayed by some moderately well known actors and the movie flowed, with no overly slow periods. All in all the first half was probably better than the second. It's not a story overloaded ...
...found to be o.k., although I thought they could have gone a bit further with the depiction of the "borrowed" bodies breaking down and I found the end sequence in the mine frankly a bit cheesy. Personally I preferred the written version I thought overall that it was more suspensful and you got to "flesh out" the characters a little more. They may be small - But their appetite is BIG!

Advantages: Collection of four films, fun to watch, comedy horror, and a past-time.
Disadvantages: NO special Features included, like commentary, and directors cut etc...

Review of Critters 1-4 Collection (Box Set) (DVD)

Interesting

Advantages: Excellent speech at the end.
Disadvantages: Plot seems quite empty.
