Advantages: Memorable deaths, good performances and special effects
Disadvantages: Some dodgy dialogue, a few inconsistencies

One unlucky day!

Advantages: Gloriously gory
Disadvantages: Rubbish acting, cheesy

Crystal Lake is a truly beautiful location, with an ugly past. Several years before, a young boy died at camp while his counsellors weren't keeping an eye on him. Since then at subsequent camps, there have been a number of deaths and strange occurences, encouraging everyone to keep away from the area. My Hero

Advantages: Good spooky film, easy to get a hold of, not too long
Disadvantages: bit dated

...be scared silly of the Frankenstein Monster films and I think this was the one that scared me the most. It's very short, only just over an hour long, and probably not very scary if you watch it now as an adult but when you are young it's terrifying. It's in black and white was made in 1931 so it's almost as old as me!
