Advantages: Barely watchable Disadvantages: Bad acting etc. It's all in the review
Cannibal Terror is a 1981 French film directed by Alain Deruelle. Made during the era of cannibal exploitation films it is probably one of the worst ones I've seen. The film starts with very dully directed scenes of boats and stuff at a port accompanied by some of that upbeat Spanish music, you know the kind, they advertise tacos and stuff to it on T.V. all the time. Two crooks Mario and Roberto are robbing a boat and are conveyed as dumb couple ... ...just on the edge of cannibal country and they'd just love to put you in the soup." Mickey tells them in an overly cheerful voice as if presenting a children's TV show. Along the way the car breaks down and Mickey goes off to get some water. But she is attacked by a bunch of really unconvincing cannibals. Luckily she has a magic pistol that can kill three cannibals all standing side by side with one shot but alas cannibals come in more than 3s and ...
Advantages: Unique Story (at the time) Disadvantages: Annoying Camera work
Always ahead of his game Lucio Fulci plays himself in this amusing and gory movie. Basically Lucio is having issues with his work and personal life so seeks out a psychiatrist, who takes great interest in his problems. So much interest that he scampers off and kills people in the same way Lucio disposed of his cast in his movie. This time however there is no acting (not from Lucio's point of view) With each murder Lucio is put more and more in the ... ...works as a good reference to Fulci's work. Almost like a CV. I found the camera work a bit annoying, the filming looked cheap and was very bumpy, I think in his later films Lucio movied to Video but was not capable of providing the atmosphere with video as he did with film. Lucio was having issues with his Diabetes but still wanted to make films. This was the last of Lucio's memorable movies, the two that followed were very easily forgotton. Its ...
Advantages: Camp, tacky, trashy and naff Disadvantages: Camp, tacky, trashy and naff
...me be quite clear - Creepozoids is a truly dreadful film. Released in 1987, it is like a cheap rip-off of every monster alien film you ever saw, without any style or class and where most of the time it tries hard to be scary, it actually turns out to be funny more than anything else.
The "special" effects (if they can be called that) are generally quite dire, particularly when the "Creepozoid" comes into play. Rather obviously a man dressed up in ... ...also be partly blamed for Creepozoids as she was the executive producer. Her other female counterpart, Kate (Kim McCamy) has an even more prolific movie career - 145 films and counting including everything from blockbusters (Jet Li's The One) to porn. She isn't very interesting in this. The fellas are not much better - Ken Abraham is suitably buff and butch as, er Butch but tends to act as though he is constipated. Jesse (Michael Aranda) is the boffin ...
Advantages: One of the best American horror movies of all time Disadvantages: The film is little known
Strange Behaviour (AKA Dead Kids) takes you back to a time when horror was horror; during the 1980's horror was at its most creative. The early 80's were probably one of the best times for horror movies in the history of film making. For me when I think seriously about horror movies Strange Behaviour is one of the first movies I think of.
Set in a small backwater town in Illinois, life appears to be a peaceful and serene experience. However a sinister ... ...events past and marry them up to events of the present. The peace and harmony we initially see is maybe not what we should be seeing. Pete Brady is a teenage boy with the usual teenage issues; the most important being lack of money. Pete wants to go to the big city to study and make something of himself; rather than stay at home only to inherit the title of Deputy Sheriff passed to him by his father (the Sheriff). His friend Oliver has recently come ...

Review of Dead Kids (DVD)
Advantages: Um....It's good if you like watching terrible movies. Disadvantages: Everything?
Words can't describe this incoherent mess. This is agonising from the start. I'm the kind of person who loves camp B-movies but this is painful. Truly painful. The dialogue, the plot, the acting. Everything. Some special effects are surpisingly done considering this movies lack of budget. It has some sickening parts, many completely pointless. In one scene "F***" is said thirty times. I counted. The last five minutes is nothing. The movie actually ... ...zombie, or something. No idea. Nothing to do with the movie. The music is all death metal. Inaudible death metal. If you think you're man enough get it but geez...Urgh...Watch clips on youtube for a gist of it but oh god...I think I'm going to go get friendly with Mr Daniels. ...
