PMS Can Be A Devil

Advantages: Disturbing, chilling atmosphere
Disadvantages: Not all it's cracked up to be; terrible special effects, some laughable bits

...beginning to drastically differ from the sweet young girl she once was. When doctors examine Regan they find that she turns violent and screams profanities at them which she has never done before. Doctors decide that a physiatrist may be the best option for Regan, but when all else fails Regan’s Mother is forced to turn to the church… I wasn’t around when The Exorcist was first released back in 1973 but have heard numerous things about the film ...
...to watch the film but have always been hesitant due to all the harrowing things I’ve heard about it. The film has been named ‘The Scariest Film Of All Time’… fitting? I still don’t know. I have heard about people committing suicide after seeing the film but curiosity got the better of me and surely 36 years after it’s initial release the film wouldn’t be able to achieve the same shock factor would it? That I can’t effectively answer, after seeing ...

A film made in Hell

Advantages: its only a film
Disadvantages: is it?

The Exorcist (Directors Cut). I'm pretty sure that by now, most people would have heard about the Exorcist film, either Film, Dvd, Video or just from memories of parents. The later of this summary is what I'm basing my review on. I was one of many who stood outside the cinema in the pouring rain, of the first showing of this movie, at our local cinema in the early 70's. I thought it was quite funny at the time to listen to; Priests and Nuns outside ...
...it more. Yes at the time it was truly horrifying, and left a real chill down the spine, every time I heard a bird in our loft after that I was convinced it was the devil looking for another possession. But time moved on, and 100's of Horror films later, it all seemed a distant memory, and then I came across this DVD, the Directors Cut, it had me intreaged, what would be different and would I notice any difference. My son who is nearly 17 asked ...

Brutal, Terrifying and all Too Real

Advantages: An extremely important piece of filmmaking.
Disadvantages: Shockingly violent, even by todays standards.

...enjoyable to witness? Eden Lake answers that question right away after one viewing- most definitely not. Eden Lake is a taut thriller and violent exploitation film set in Britain, directed by James Watkins and starring Kelly Reilly and Michael Fassbender as the two leads. It tells the story of Jenny and Steve, a couple living in London. Jenny is a schoolteacher and in desperate need of a break so Steve takes her to the remote Eden Lake, a small beach ...
...but I will say that Eden Lake really is one of the most shocking and controversial films to be released in a long time. The violence suffered by the two leads is horrifying and completely realistic. The dank ending will leave you feeling dirty and may even question your own conscience. This is not a film to sit and enjoy- it is a film to make you think and to terrify you over its gritty realism. The lead couple could well be that nice couple from ...

The Evil Dead ws written produced and directed by Sam Raimi and starred Bruce Campbell, Ellen Sandweiss and Betsy Baker. The film is about five college students and their holiday in the Tennessee woods, which turns into a nightmare when they find an video that is a key to unlocking evil spirits. The film caused alot of contryversy all over the world and many countries including Finland, Iceland, Ireland and Germany would not show it and germany ...
...throughtout the film. A cut version was made and this came befor the british public in 1992. There is still alot of contryversy surrounding the film even today but you can now legally buy the uncut version. The Ultamate Experiance In Gruling Terror as it is called on the front of the cover i think doesn't really match the dvd as it has alot of gore but i didn't really find it scairy at all. The DVD contains many special features including a full ...

THE BEST HORROR MOVIES IN 2003

Advantages: Eerie! Scary! Spooky! Spine-chilling!
Disadvantages: After the movie, it makes you think twice about switching off the lights when you go to bed :p

I am the fans of Scary Horror movies, the list of my favorite Scary Horror movies are like "The Ring (Japanese)", "Shutter (Korean)", "The Others" and of course "The Sixth Sense" and many more… Have you ever watched "The Sixth Sense"?? Well "The Eye", original title is "Jian gui is a kind of similar movie; in this movie The Pang Brothers borrow the idea from "The Sixth Sense" but the story is original in its delivery where scenes do not play out ...
...details about the plot cause I feel it's best if you watch it without knowing too much. The only thing I should admit after watching "The Eye (Hong Kong)", my list have become longer :p What kind of movie is it?? Genre: When a movie makes you scare, it must be "Horror Movie" but this one I categorize as Psychology Horror Release Year: 2001 and the Collector's Edition in August 2004 Directed by Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang or well known as ...
