Too much bad press, time for some love!
Advantages: Quirky. Great one liners. Disadvantages: oo many people hating the film without looking deeper.
Okay. So a lot of people are declaring this film as 'tosh' but after watching it three times I must disagree. As a lad of 20 who loves his comedy films I thoroughly enjoyed the way this film pokes fun at horror films, our sex-obsessed nation and laddishness all in one. Yeah the plot is obvious and crappy but that was the intent. The plot is suited to Horne and Corden's humour and this film is worth a look for some classic one liners. As the title ... ...and if you watch this with your girlfriend you'll probably be in for an earful. However, the film is quirky and just has something about it. A lot of people want to hate it due to their success which caused the film to be created in the first place, including myself somewhat. I must admit, I was wrong to think this and am happy to say this film takes pride of place in my DVD collection. ...

HEAR THE FEAR
Advantages: Creepy Disadvantages: Creepy
...nightmare, Philip Claydon’s directorial debut, Alone will bring out all your hidden fears in a startling and often graphic way.
Alone since the age of thirteen, Alex is an obsessive psychopath, who lives alone and undergoes a bare minimum of psychological treatment. Obsessed with routine and cleanliness, Alex is utterly scrupulous about personal hygiene, perpetually wears rubber medical gloves and keeps immaculate records of every routine ... ...and video on August 5th, Alone is quite unlike any film that I’ve seen before. Following in the footsteps of Long Time Dead, Alone proves that British filmmakers can make genuinely frightening films, without having to stoop to the depths that American producers currently go with their endless “Stalk and Slash” epics. Alone is a tense and very vivid film – and is virtually guaranteed to unsettle anyone with a nervous disposition.
