Relentless Action...Brutal Terror, Savage Hunger
Advantages: Its Cheap Disadvantages: Its a big let down
...same problem.
Cannibal Apocalypse is a terrible tease of a film, primarily because there is only one brief cannibal scene, not a horde of cannibals as you may expect from the title.. The "Cannibals" are suffering from a condition closer to rabies than anything else. They don't eat there victims, although they do bite them with the intention of ending life. Apocalypse was one of the first titles to ... ...way. His first movie was Cannibal Apocalypse but he did go on to make a series of other illicit horror titles City Of The Living Dead, Cannibal Ferox, The House On The Edge Of The Park. In 2002 he became popular worldwide after his role in Gangs Of New York and has been busy ever since.
Norman was played by John Saxon, John has made just fewer than 200 movies and has had major roles in a variety of TV shows, he is best remembered as the guy leading ...

One of us the Monster? But we're British you know!
Advantages: This is one of the best films that Cushing and Lee made together. A classic. Disadvantages: Some of the dubbed voices are a bit distracting.
...Ridley Scott's Alien there was Horror Express. The claustrophobic confines of a train in place of the Nostromo as the hunting ground for a killer of extra-terrestrial origin.
This Fantastically eerie gothic horror, with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee at their British best, is only let down by some of the dubbed voices. This is a minor quibble (it was an anglo-spanish production after all!)
THE FILM
Provincia de Szecuan, China, 1906.

THE PRODUCTION
An anglo-spanish production filmed in sumptuous Eastmancolor, made by Benmar Productions and Granada Films in Madrid, December 1971. Entitled Panico en el Transiberiano (Panic on the Trans-Siberian Express) in Spain, it is more commonly known as Horror Express.
Bernard Gordon produced with Gene Martin directing. The screenplay was written by Arnaud D'Usseau and Julian Halevy, based on a story ...

Spoofy Movie?
Advantages: funny in parts, a couple of good performances Disadvantages: not THAT funny
I should have read the reviews of this film before I bought the dvd off play.com last week as in general they weren't favourable. Then again, I am never one to pay all that much attention to unfavourable reviews - if I want to watch something I will usually watch it anyway, regardless of the bad reviews. Often, I will like a film that no one else was able to stand - particularly if it is of the cheesy variety. And I have watched Scary Movie 1 and ... ...not find them funny anymore, so thought it would be nice to try a DIFFERENT spoof along the same theme. Just to see what it was like.
Anyway, "Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday 13th" is a spoof horror movie which amalgamates parts from Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer and many other films from the "horror" genre. In other words, its "Scary Movie" with different actors, and a vaguely different story. And, really, it is nowhere near ...

Taking the Fun out of the Fair
Advantages: Very little Disadvantages: Poor story | None-eventful | Not scary at all
Wes Craven is a whore. Not in the sexual sense I might add, for that would be too disturbing to imagine, what I’m talking about is his liking to whore his name out to appear on sub standard horror movies in order to give them a little glitz and him a nice amount of money. Despite him being renowned for the Scream series his choice of films where he doesn’t have anything to do with them has been ‘interesting’ to say the least. Just because his name ... ...in favour of it. Wes Craven should hang his head in eternal shame for giving his name to movies such as this one though he’s probably too busy counting his piles of cash to care.

Wendigo - A unique film.
Advantages: Great beginning. It draws you in. Disadvantages: No middle or end to the film and you can't follow the story.
I watched this film with my family and it began really well.
A husband, wife and son are travelling in their car in the snow for a short break away from home. On the way to their destination, a deer runs out in front of them and hits the car. They stop and are confronted by three deer hunters with guns.
You're watching a thriller and wonder what is going to happen next. Will they be taken hostage by the hunters? Will they be shot? Will the car ... ...middle of nowhere in the snow?
Unfortunately, after such a good start, the film went downhill rapidly. The story became extremely difficult to follow and just got stranger and stranger as time passed. There was some gore in parts and there were a few tense moments but it left me feeling really disappointed.
I can't tell you what the bulk of the story was about, as I really couldn't understand it myself. I watched the whole of the credits, in the ...
