Where it All Began
Advantages: Great series, funny and thrilling. Disadvantages: Some of the effects are a little outdated.
...true must have for any Buffy fan, this is the series that started it all. Join the original 'Scooby Gang' of Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Willow (Alyson Hannigan) and Xander (Nicholas Brendon) along with Buffy's watcher Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) as they embark on their very first adventures together in the somewhat ironically named 'Sunnydale', through the trials and tribulations of being teenagers, the responsibilty of being a butt-kicking ... ...'hell' that is high school. The special effects might not be wonderful by todays standards - but it is what it is. Great fun to watch the characters as they started out on somewhat hesitant ground, and some of the most original and great work of BTVS. Not to be missed. ...

Have A Little Faith in Buffy
Advantages: Great storylines, great new characters Disadvantages: A couple of poor episodes
Season three saw Buffy the Vampire Slayer really getting into its stride. With more complex plots, the characters grew as much as the show itself. I don't want to repeat the general information I put into my review of seasons one and two, so I'll just jump straight into reviewing the characters and episodes. Check my profile for my reviews of the first two seasons!
--Characters--
The mainstays from seasons one and two return as our fearless gang ... ...end of last season saw Buffy running away from home, and the season three opener picks up a couple of months later. Buffy's in LA, working as a waitress in a diner - but is there something more sinister going on with LA's disadvantaged youths? This is a rather weak start to the season, but the episode has its good moments.
Episode Two: Dead Man's Party
Buffy's friends decide to throw her a welcome home party, but as always in Sunnydale: it's not ...

Becoming Buffy
Advantages: Great characters, an excellent story arc, fantastic season finale Disadvantages: A couple of bad episodes
Buffy the Vampire Slayer really found its feet in season two. It progressed from being a monster of the week show, to a show with a serious storyline, character and plot arcs.
I don't want to repeat the general information I put into my review of season one, so I'll just jump straight into reviewing the characters and episodes. Read my review of season one here: http://dvd.ciao.co.uk/BuffyTheVampireSlayerSeason1CollectionDVDRev iew5767154
... ...out of her shell, and Buffy grows up a lot as she deals with the hand life has dealt her.
There are some wonderful new characters in this season, amongst them the infamous Spike. The bleach blonde vampire is played by James Marsters with aplomb and despite the slightly dodgy English accent is a fantastic character. Accompanying Spike is the insane Drusilla; another English character played by an American - in this case Juliet Landau. Spike and Dru ...

Buffy tastic! The Buffy the Vampire Slayer Box Set
Advantages: great entertainment Disadvantages: none
Background: I grew up with Buffy and her trials and tribulations were fairly similar to my own (except I saved the world less and encountered fewer demons). When I saw the complete DVD collection in a shop I just couldn't resist. The box set: The box set includes all 7 seasons, with each season in a separate case. As you'd expect each case also contains a little booklet telling you about each episode and the extras on the discs. The title screens ... ...was to get all the Buffy episodes together! The episodes: The humour and stories are just as good as I remembered them and I would utterly and without reservation recommend this box set to anyone who has fond Buffy memories! **also published on dooyoo under the same name** ...

...~ BUFFY? ~
Buffy the vampire Slayer is an American T.V series following the life of Buffy Summers, a 16 year old girl who not only has a new town and school to deal with but has the occupation of being a vampire slayer. The first series introduces all of the characters and how Buffy is very special person. The town of Sunnydale is haunted by the Hellmouth which is a evil door to hell. There are many demons and vampires who live around this Hellmouth ... ...a trouble maker. Buffy the Vampire Slayer became one of my favourite television shows and when the first season was released in 1997. I think I was 11 when I first saw the series on t.v then Buffy seemed really intriguing to me. Since it continued I have collected all of the DVD box sets but I loved the first and second season the most. It seems to get more out of hand and silly as the series go on but still I have all 7 seasons on DVD. I think the ...
