Offers plenty of jumps Advantages: Scary. Atmospheric. Disadvantages: Not taking a map on a caving expedition is a bit of a weak plot point. The Decent follows the expedition of 6 girls on a caving holiday. When an unexpected rock blocks there exist they find their not the only one's down there.. Awesome ride from start to finish Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: Nothing ...just sitting in by yourself. The story is extremely well written, with a great cast who furfull their parts to perfection. This film truly delivers a rollercoaster ride from start to finish, and ends unexpectedly. If I were to choose any horror film to reccomend to fans of the genre this would be it. Bargain 3 great british films Advantages: all each have there own merits Disadvantages: descent the weakest of the 3 ...original thought put in. The "descent" based in the highlands in an uncharted underground cave a bunch of women face unkown terror of beasts that dewell beneath the ground. The women in this film are all of noticable charactistics e.g the bold strong leader (who felt an undiscovered cave would be a challenge) to the quiter but mentally strong lead charatcter. once a year they meet up for an adventure weekend were they seek a challenge and bond ... ...The film in question is strong with some good character development that helps suck you in and care which women live through the ordeal. first hour into the clastrophobic caves are jumpy and have some great tention and the beasts add a great deal of fear which make everything come together. the main problem though is when the film kicks in the camera is all over the place and you struggle to understand what is going on and who your following within ... Too much bad press, time for some love! Advantages: Quirky. Great one liners. Disadvantages: oo many people hating the film without looking deeper. Okay. So a lot of people are declaring this film as 'tosh' but after watching it three times I must disagree. As a lad of 20 who loves his comedy films I thoroughly enjoyed the way this film pokes fun at horror films, our sex-obsessed nation and laddishness all in one. Yeah the plot is obvious and crappy but that was the intent. The plot is suited to Horne and Corden's humour and this film is worth a look for some classic one liners. As the title ... ...and if you watch this with your girlfriend you'll probably be in for an earful. However, the film is quirky and just has something about it. A lot of people want to hate it due to their success which caused the film to be created in the first place, including myself somewhat.
