Review of Pan's Labyrinth (DVD)

I... will you... my power

Advantages: Fantastic soundtrack and brilliant stunts
Disadvantages: A little far fetched

...friend of mine suggested seeing The Covenant at the cinema when it first came out I wasn't too enthusiastic but decided to go anyway. All I can say is that I'm glad I did, as the film I saw was fantastic. The energy, power but also the empathy it created was immense and the soundtrack one of the best I'd heard in a while. Looking at how others have rated the film however I think I may be on my own. Ok I have to admit that the story is a little far-fetched ...

Saw IV

Advantages: Much blooood, cool sound effects and made so realistic
Disadvantages: Not for the weak ones...

...the main thing, in the saw 1 & 2, John only wants to play a game, and in this part, his daughter or whoever continues coz he is dieing in brain tumour. The movie ends with a shot of John's corpse lying on the bed. Through much blood, brutality and sick scenes this movie is going through. Advantages: Funny, scary at times, tension
Disadvantages: Lacks the atmosphere the first film had, unintetionally funny, becomes a bit silly
