GREAT film....The Hills have eyes.

Advantages: Shocking, unique, one to buy.
Disadvantages: the sequal was crap

Im very fussy when it comes to movies and theres not many horror films i actually rate, this movie however kept me watching it till the end, and my husband and i have watched this film a good 6 times atleast. ...When i first watched the film, i wasn't sure in the first 5 minutes because, when you first see the 'killers' it makes you laugh because one of them is stood at the top of a cliff eating a leg? but then as the film goes on you take it more seriously. This film is defintly a classic, MUCH better than the original which in my opinion was stupid and very boring. Amongst my friends and i this is a definite one to watch. ...

Advantages: Tension, twists, horror, gory, best ever film

My favourite film of all time! The hills have eyes

Advantages: Scary as hell, creepy, everything a horror should be.
Disadvantages: cant think of any

The hills have eyes (18+) ............................................. STORYLINE ............................................ ...its really well made and the storyline is so creepy. The acting in this is very emotional and very well done. The hills have eyes is a unique movie and I am certain it will scare everyone who watches it. its brilliant! :) The movie is somewhat disturbing as well as scary and violent, there is a scene of rape, burning a live body and cutting people up. That sort of stuff is what makes a good horror movie. DEFINATELY TOP OF MY BEST MOVIES EVER LIST! ...

Mirrors - beware of what you see

Advantages: Original and different than releases in the last few years
Disadvantages: appointing ending

Review of Mirrors (DVD)

Convincing remake of a good horror film

Advantages: Got me jumping and on the edge of my seat
Disadvantages: Inconsistent at times

Don't get me wrong, I actually rate this film quite highly for what it does, but there's enough gruesome cannibalism in the film without having to worry about it cropping up through a series of extras as well.
