My Worst Nightmare and One Rather Disturbing Film!
Advantages: Scary, for those who like to be afraid this is a advantage, good actors. Disadvantages: Clown lol! oh! and a bad ending
...to play on peoples fears. Stephen king certainly knows how to make a scary film, I will give him that! The actors where all very convincing in their parts and that added even more so to its horror effect. This is now officially the scariest film that I have ever seen and I know when a film has terrified me because reason one is that I find it hard to watch and two, I get a sick feeling at the back of my throat (probably from panic as to what is going ... ...because it seems as if Stephen King got lazy at the end and decided to just go with whatever first popped into his head. So, given my disappointment due to that I decided that I should knock one of the five stars off because it left me thinking that there really should have been a lot more. Although this may add a little to its eeriness, in the sense that you are left with some questions at the end. I really do not like when otherwise good films ...

Eight legs, two fangs and an attitude!

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Advantages: you think its gonna be scary. Disadvantages: it isnt.
...scary. He told me all the gory bits like cutting their faces off and wearing them.
He said he hasnt been the same since so me being me i wanted to see it. i cant believe this scared him! it wasnt the smallest bit scary at all.
It was alright storyline wise but for horror it simply wasnt scary. so if youre looking for a horror film get John Carpenters remake of The Thing. loads scarier than this. Films just dont seem to be very scary now. ive seen ... ...nearly ran her over as the driver was kissing his babe, (which was very predictable). Shes in a right state and she realises that the people r goin the way where the loony lives. she syas youre goint eh wrong way and then pulls a gun out from between her legs (r u thinkin what im thinkin?) and kills herself. they call the cop and he thinks they killed her.

More Scanners, not quite as good though
Advantages: Some good plot twists Disadvantages: Doesn't add anything new to the previous movie
...great thing about the original Scanners movie is it was a totally new idea combining elements of horror & science fiction with telepathy & telekinesis which gave the sinister but rather compelling story of good versus evil and brother against brother. Throw into that mix one of the first film roles for the awesome Micheal Ironside (as the evil brother) as well as the great film making ability of David Cronenburg and it made for a great underground ... ...2 surviving Male & Female Scanners from the original movie, he struggles to contain his power as we also see the exploits of a bad Scanner called Peter Drak. From The Hat To The Brain
Advantages: Time to reminise Disadvantages: Cheap looking video film
...a gap in the schedule. Cat In The Brain or Nightmare Concert as its better known in Europe is not quite that bad, but you can see the resemblances. For Fulci as a director it gave him a opportunity to redo special effects shots that never worked so well the first time round. The two major movie influences over the film were two recent additions Sodoma’s Ghost and Touch Of Death; both of which were finished just prior to the filming of Cat In The ... ...movies side by side and Cat In The Brain is a far superior movie, the plot is more coherent and the characters act rather than whine there way through the plot.
In making a movie so close to home (emotionally speaking) Fulci lets the viewer see him in a slightly different light than they may expect. Rumours of him being a miserable old sod are not likely to diminish after seeing this movie; which personally I believe is an incredibly courageous ...
