Anyone want a mug of Kokumo?

Advantages: Possesion is 9 tenths of the law
Disadvantages: That's not really true :-(

...the best thing in an Exorcist film. This film basically has her in a rehab unit, recovering from the traumas of being possessed in the first film. A priest called Father Lamont (played brilliantly by Richard Burton) comes to interview her and try and find out what really happened to Father Merrin all those years ago. They use a contraption (a synchronizer??) to bring their minds together and travel through the mental cosmos to find out what really ...
...ex-wife Belinda was also in Exorcist II and Deliverance. Rating: 18 in the UK; R in the US Running Time: 118 minutes, although it does seem a good bit longer than that. Things I've learned from this film: 1. Peanuts can be used to imitate locusts if you're short of budget. 2. If you can't remember something, synchronize your brain with an alcoholic playing a priest, that'll remind you of things. 3. "If Pazuzu comes for you I will spit a leopard!" ...

Audrey Rose: Is she or isn't she?

Advantages: Very watchable, interesting storyline, quite scary in parts
Disadvantages: Rather dated, a little stilted acting here & there

...Michael Small ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Audrey Rose was adapted from Frank De Felitta's novel of the same name, and released as a film in 1977. The scene is New York, and the Templetons seem like a happy, fairly well-heeled family, who live in a hotel which overlooks Central Park. Bill Templeton loves his wife and daughter, but is a rather stressed-out individual who works hard and long hours for an advertising agency. Janice Templeton ...
...reincarnation of his own daughter Audrey Rose, who was killed in a car crash some years previously, and Elliot says he wants no more than to just be a part of Ivy's life. I won't say any more about the way the storyline progresses, other than it is a rather tense, and in parts quite scary buildup towards a stunning and quite unexpected ending. I can't exactly remember when I first saw Audrey Rose; I believe it could have been on TV, possibly in ...

See It With Someone Your Sure Of

Advantages: New spin on the vampire movie
Disadvantages: Very dated, grainy imagery, not for some horror fans

...was the movie Martin. Martin (John Amplas) is 84 years old, this is slightly deceptive however because Martin looks like a teenager. Martin is ill, he suffers from a disease that we might call vampirism. He cannot help himself, when he sees a pretty woman he just needs to drink her blood. In order to try and control himself Martin heads to Pittsburg to live with his cousin Tada Cuda, himself an old man; but one who has physically aged, due to the ...
...offers Martin as his nephew in the community, employing him in his shop to deliver meat to the neighbourhood. Despite Martin's best intentions however he finds his blood cravings difficult to come to terms with and is forced to return to his vampire habits. With Tada on his back, ostracising him Martin has only one release, a local radio phone in show, but a potential love interest may cause things to change; but for the better or worse? Prior to ...

The Queen of Exploitation Is Back!!!

Advantages: gore, violence, film history, independent cinema, torture, female villain
Disadvantages: very few

...The third in the infamous Ilsa films (total of 4, I believe), this one goes back to the standards of excellence found in the original, "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS." If you are unfamiliar with the Ilsa films, that may or may not be a good thing. If you are a fan of classic cinema, with nice morals, values, a positive message and scenes you will treasure for a lifetime...this movie should be avoided like the plague. On the other hand, if you're a fan ...
...find slightly amusing about these Ilsa movies is that NO ONE INVOLVED other than Dyanne Thorne and the director Don Edmonds used their real names. Everyone else involved, cast, crew, lights, sound, producer....all insisted on using fake names so as not to tarnish their reputations. Amusing side-note, the director at the time was famous for producing porn...and he worried that Ilsa would ruin his film reputation. Now if that's not gotten you interested ...

DACK RAMBO

Advantages: Alright first half. Guy who played Devil worshipper
Disadvantages: Annoying cats, Story changes, Film doesn't have ending

Good Against Evil is a 1977 TV film directed by Paul Wendkos who directed a lot of TV programs. The beginning of this film I liked. A dark figure is walking down and alley at night and a black cat is walking parallel along window sills of a building. It comes to a window of a woman in a disturbed sleep. She starts to run around the hospital (waving her arms and shouting Attica) looking for her baby but is stopped from seeing it by a nun with this ...
...the first story was quite good and the film End of Days seems to have taken a lot from it. I wouldn't really recommend it as there is no real point to this film as the necessary follow on series was never made but it's not all that bad. One thing I did notice, if anyone read my Don't go into the Attic review you may remember that I said that the DVD cover was a lot of rubbish and not taken from anything ion the film, well there is a bit in this film ...
