Once More With Feeling- love it!!!
Advantages: funny, musical, good for anyone even if not buffy fan, brilliant acting Disadvantages: slightly cheesy
...when watching this episode of buffy is that it is FANTASTIC! Everything works so well together. The comedy, the music, the fighting. Brilliant. I will admit that i am biased as an addicted Scooby but i feel that anyone who hasnt been won over by the Buffy series before, this will definetly hit you with the buffy bug. Who knew they could all sing. This is even one for those who want to sit in and watch a classic musical. Even though it is a part of ... ...and one of my top ten that i own. The continuing of one of the forbidden loves of all time between buffy and spike. The first fight of the loved up witches. There is something for all in this feature length episode. You dont want to miss ou on it. ...

Buffy Season 5
Advantages: Brilliant season of a brilliant show. Disadvantages: Nothing.
...- this is my favourite Buffy season. This season includes the introduction of mysterious little sister Dawn, and shows key developments in the relationships of the characters, such as Willow and Tara. It also has some of the most defining moments of Buffy, including the wonderful and heart-wrenching episode 'The Body' which has been one of the most memorable episodes to date. We also get more intimate with Spike, (James Marsters) and get to see a ... ...love the bond between sisters Buffy and Dawn, which ultimately leads to my favourite ever BTVS episode 'The Gift' which is the fifth season finale. Featuring a beautiful soundtrack, big snakes, monks, goddesses and moments to make you laugh and cry, this season is definately not to be missed. In my opinion it is well worth the money, and will keep you entertained for hours. ...

Becoming Buffy
Advantages: Great characters, an excellent story arc, fantastic season finale Disadvantages: A couple of bad episodes
Buffy the Vampire Slayer really found its feet in season two. It progressed from being a monster of the week show, to a show with a serious storyline, character and plot arcs.
I don't want to repeat the general information I put into my review of season one, so I'll just jump straight into reviewing the characters and episodes. Read my review of season one here: http://dvd.ciao.co.uk/BuffyTheVampireSlayerSeason1CollectionDVDRev iew5767154
... ...out of her shell, and Buffy grows up a lot as she deals with the hand life has dealt her.
There are some wonderful new characters in this season, amongst them the infamous Spike. The bleach blonde vampire is played by James Marsters with aplomb and despite the slightly dodgy English accent is a fantastic character. Accompanying Spike is the insane Drusilla; another English character played by an American - in this case Juliet Landau. Spike and Dru ...

Angel battles his inner demon
Advantages: Lots more familiar characters from the Buffy universe Disadvantages: Some of the special features are tedious
Plot
In season 2 Angel moves away from its Buffy origins and concentrates more on what makes Angel himself interesting - the fact that he's a vampire with a soul and is, therefore, constantly battling his inner demon and struggling for redemption.
Given the destruction of their original office building at the end of season 1, the team (Angel, Wesley and Cordelia) move into the abandoned Hyperion hotel, which gives them much more room for ... ...before.
The team at Angel Investigations are joined by Charles Gunn, a tough street kid with a history of fighting vampires and once again are battling evil wherever they find it and the 'Big Bad' - the lawyers for the supernaturally challenged, Wolfram and Hart, who bring Darla (the gal who vamped Angel) back from the dead to turn him bad.
Another new character is the green singing demon, Lorne, who comes in handy when the whole team is transported ...

Something To Sink Your Teeth Into.
Advantages: The whole season, character development, Spike, best choreography of any season Disadvantages: Last ever season
...yes to both. Despite reservations, Angel is a fantastic feat of television. Actually managing to better it's sister show over several seasons. Whilst Buffy was always a show about being a teenager, and surviving as a teenager in high school, the world, life, love, Angel, in contrast is about adults. The choices that people make, and the consequences they have to live with. Whilst Angel himself turns out to be one of the most interesting, 3-dimensional ... ...resources at the gang's disposal, Angel Investigation attempt to fight the good fight from inside the belly of the beast. With many twists and turns, betrayals and deceptions, and some old friends (and foe's) along for the ride, the season culminates in Angel Investigations discovering the source of evil run on earth, and declaring all out war. Without saying anymore the final season is brilliant, embodying everything great about the show; comedy, ...
