I first brought this film at Christmas and have only just got around to watching it. Actually when I switched it on and put the disk into my DVD player I thought who the hell is ALEX D.LINZ? Then I thought hold on they have changed the cast around for this film.
Anyway enough of my babbling on. On with the review. Please don't forget to go easy on me as this is the first review I have written in months.
Cast: Alex D. Linz.... Alex Pruitt (Little Terror) Olek Krupa.... Peter Beaupre (Criminal) Rya Kihlstedt.... Alice Ribbons (Criminal) Lenny von Dohlen.... Burton Jernigan (Criminal) David Thornton.... Earl Unger (Criminal) Haviland Morris.... Karen Pruitt (Accountant) Kevin Kilner.... Jack Pruitt (Family Man) Marian Seldes .... Mrs. Hess (Chimney Smoker) Seth Smith .... Stan Pruitt (Parrot Lover) Scarlett Johansson .... Molly Pruitt (Homework Cheat)
The names in brackets are my nicknames for them. They best fit the description that I have given them.
What is the film about?
The film is about a little boy who intercepts a top secret electronic device that belongs to a North-Korean terrorist group. They lost the chip (NSB-100 C Series) at the airport after Mrs. Hess picks up the wrong bag. She travels back to Chicago with a remote controlled car. Inside the remote controlled car lied the chip (NSB-100 C Series). She gives it to Alex Pruitt as payment for shoveling her driveway. When Alex gets home he see's some spots. He has been diagnosed with the chicken-pocks. He has to stay at home for the whole week. Unfortunately for his parents a new family has moved onto the block. They are the ones looking for the chip (NSB-100 C Series). They search 1 house a day. There are only 15 houses on the block.
On the first day they burgle the first house. Alex spots the man in the Murphy's house. He calls 911 and the police come. The police claim that there was no one in the house.
On the second day they burgle the second house. Alex spots the man in Mrs. Hess's house. Alex calls 911 and calls the police out again. The man is still in the house when the police go onto the driveway of Mrs. Hess. They smash down the door and they find nothing again.
I won't tell you people what happened on the second day as it will spoil the ending. The ending is the best bit so you will have to buy it to see what happens next. I will not be responsible for leading you people into a state of silence.
Anyway what do I think about the film? That's a really funny question. I have only watched it once and I thought it was totally hilarious. The actors and actresses gelled really well from the quality of the film. Unfortunately it doesn't come close to the first two films. Home Alone 1 and 2 (Lost in New York)
Anyway thats what i thought of it. Not better than the first two but i think that you can never beat a good old culkin movie.

Good review I liked the kid in the first two films of this triology and I thought he would be in here aswell but I think he was a bit too old at that time to be left at home and get chased by burglars but I did enjoy this on aswell as the other's.

If they keep making these this child will eventually be old enough to be allowed to stay home along, good review, Sue
