If it wasn't a Home Alone film it would be okay but, dislike him you may, there is no substitute for McCauly Caulkin's cheeky little face and the avid persistance of Joe Pesci.
The kid left alone theme wears a little bit thin but the children like it.
Personally, I find there is something endearing about Home Alone 1 and 2 but, sorry, this film just does nothing for me.The story seems to be exactly the same as the first one,and the gags repeat themselves. The tricks that the boy uses to fight the baddies are the same that Caulkin has used years and years ago.And now somehow they don't look funny any more.
I doubt I would ever want to watch Home Alone 4 should they ever make one.

what i thought was nice about this, was the fact that there were less 'pranks' played by the boy that would have resulted in certain death, like H.A 1 and 2; the electrocution, crushings and burnings etc..
