Music / Performing Arts, Comedy - Director: Trevor Nunn, Geoffrey Posner - Original Language: English - Classification: 15 years and over, Parental Guidance - Starring: Duncan Preston, Celia Imrie, Julie Walters, Victoria Wood, Jim Broadbent
Advantages: Some good remixes and the price Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album
A Girl Part 1 - Usher, Loon & P Diddy. Great chorus and catchy lyrics from usher, definately one for the ladies but a really popular tune.
Unfoolish - Ashanti & Notorious BIG. Loads of radio play this one, mixing Biggies old tune, i think the video got more airplay than the original and another cult classic
Dance With Me/Peaches And Cream - 112, Ludacris & Beanie Segal. Great mix with the two best tunes from the 112 album. Great r&b club tracks and more cult classics
No More Drama - Mary J Blige. Compared to what has come before on this album, the Mary track falls just short. Its a mid tempo track which is just middle of the road
So complete - Cherri Dennis. I can basically repeat the same as above, not really much going on
Notorious - Lil Kim, Notorious BIG & P Diddy. Nowhere near the original in my opinion but my brother loves it ...
Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: A few tracks are a little weaker than the rest
issue with the older generation and those who are on the rise
**Five Stars**
4. ?Where Are They Now?
Although not nearly as exciting as the remixes, this track has im ask where all the big names of the eighties and nineties have gone. In the later version he got to work with a few of the people who he lists here as he goes back into the history of HipHop and speaks on top of some funky James Brown samples, and how excited it made him as he heard all that he came up with.
**Five Stars**
5. ?HipHop Is Dead?
The titular track here had a big impact at the time as it really represented what Nas meant by the statement and made people reconsider what they see ?real HipHop? to truly be, and whether they have actually encountered it recently form the act which performed then. He take son classic breaks such as ?In ...
Advantages: Fun, practical and gives a full work out Disadvantages: Too fast for beginner.
The HipHop workout is a fun and active way to get fit and also to learn a whole new different dance routine.
It's modern and really practical. It creates another reason to dance and can really improve your dance moves when you get the hang of the steps.
It is great fun and you can really feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the workout.
However, I felt that it moved to fast and was quite difficult to pick up at first as the leader was going through the steps so quickly without really explaining slowly what was what and where to where.
The music is catchy and gives a buzz when working out.
A great work out but maybe requires quite a few repeats if not a natural dancer. ...
