The best friends Shannon (Minnie Driver) a nurse and Frances (Mary McCormack) an unsuccessful American actress stuck in London.
Oneday, they overhear two criminals discussing a multi-million pound bank heist and they life changes. They decide decide to take advantage of the situation.
Down on their luck, they are blackmailing the bad guys. and , as it should happen, the bad guys refuse to be blackmailed and give the money and so on.
The performance of Minnie Driver and Mary McCormack is not satisfactory at all.
This is one of the most boring comedy movies I have ever seen. I don't know if it is just becuase it is an English movie, in every magazine and everywhere it is advertised as a wonderful movie. It is a really bad movie. The friends of mine who watched the movie agree with me. I wonder what you'll think about it (if you still wanna go and see it)
Alhough some say "its performances distinguishes High Heels from some recent British comedies", as far as I am concerned it is very difficult to distinguish this movie from the others"
There is just about enough stuff to fill its 80 minute running time. There is not a lot to say about this movie, There is alot of talk but no real substance.
High Heels drifts in places as a result of some bland acting and unmemorable scenes, but isnt it just a trait of British movies
