Story :
Shyam lives in village but is totally in debts, his father use to in a bank but is dead now. So he decides he will go to town and get the job in the bank where his dad use to work and he can replace him and can cover the debts that are there on him. But when he comes to town there is another girl Anuradha who dad also use to work in the bank and is also dead so she wants to work there. Now there is only one position vacant currently at the bank. So bank manager tells them that only one of you can get the job. so atleast one of you should give the No object certificate then the other will get the job.
There is this other guy Raju who wants to become rich in life and wants a shortcut way so that he can be rich. His mother lives in a old age home and he lies to her that he is a big man now and will take her soon with her.
He leaves as a paying guest at Babu Rao's place, Babu owns a garage by the name Star Garage, he is a well hearted man. But in lot of debts taken by his father for the cure of his mother. But both are dead now and he is till paying back the debts. Shyam comes and stays at babu rao's place as a paying guest.
So now all three of them under one roof. There comes Khadak singh he is Shyam's friend from village from whom shyam has taken 35000rs which he wants back as he has to marry her sister off. So he comes to town and ask for the money so he ask for some time from him. So shyam decides to give the job to Anuradha but ask for Rs35000 from her and he will give the NOC. But seeing Anuradha's problem he gives the job to her like that only. On the other hand there is Gangster Kabeera who kidnaps the grand daughter of Rich man Devi Prasad who is the owner of Star Fisheries. Now he calls the number which he takes from Yellow Pages but due to printing mistake the number of Star Garage & Star Fisheries are interchange so the call goes to Star Garage and handled by these three man. So now the what happens is you to find out? What do they do with the call? do they Inform Devi prasad or police or handle the call them self? But trust me you will have a good time watching the movie and see what happens next. Itsa fun ride and you will always want to sit on it.

the music is given By Anu Malik & Lyrics by Sameer. well the music of this movie is good. But background score is briliant. Tun Tunak TUn song is good to watch. and other songs which are shown in the movie goes by the flow of the movie.
My Analysis:
Well this is one of my Fav movies all time, because it was all together a new story. What a paerformance by everyone. Infact this movie is so hit that there was another sequence of it released called Phir Hera Pheri & the 3rd and 4th sequel are also in production. Akshay Kumar as always a brilliant performance, what a comic timing he has. he has played the role of a youngster who wants to make it big by any means briliantly.
Sunil Shetty als ohas done his job perfectly of a struggler. Tabu has done her part good, as she has nothing more to do as the movie totally belongs to the three man.
But the show steeler is Paresh Rawal, what a performance he has wonn all the awards that year for this movie. You just start laughing the time you see him on the screen. His body language & dialogue delivery ofa marathi man is simply superb. And it makes you laugh the way he has pronounced all the words. You all will love his character in this movie.
Gulshan Grover has also done justice to his role of playinga kidnapper. Amd all other characters from Ompuri and other peple have done a good job.
There are so many comedy scenes in this movie which you can forget they just make you cry as you laugh so much, your stomach starts to ache.
In the end just want to say this is movie you should not miss.

Hera Pheri is certainly Priyadarshan's finest hindi film and is certainly one of the best comedies to come out from india. This is a great example of how a film can still work big time despite having a simple and thin plot,thanks to its characters and fantastic dialogues. The basic plot is simple.One day,Babu rao gets a misplaced call from a man who says he has kidnapped his grandchild and wants ransom money.WHen Baburao and his two tenants realise ... ...calling the real person and pretending as the kidnappers. In the whole mix of earning the extra money,they are ready to go to any extent and the twists and turns in the script follows a funny and joyful ride.The characterisation of the three principal characters are fabulous and somewhat deep considering its a comedy.The comedy is slapstick and mostly depends on the improvisation and execution of the actors. Star cast is serious. Paresh Rawal, the versatile actor, Suneil Shetty, the action hero, Tabu, one of the most mature heroine in bollywood and Akshay Kumar, arguably the most on demand action hero of that time. Besides them, there are Om Puri, Asrani, Mukesh Khanna and Kulbhusan Kharbanda; all of them are known as very serious actors. I just couldn’t believe that Priyadarshan (Director) is going to ... ...simple nightmares to the viewers. Hera Pheri brought the funny fragrance back to bollywood. Here goes the storyline:

Hera Pheri has a good cast comprising of Paresh Rawal,Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty.The trio has different behaviours and characters.In this movie they are people living in a poor neighbourhood and one day get a call from a kidnapper due to the print mistakes in the telephone directory.The kidnappers intention is to call a rich industrialist but he doesn't realise that the call has gone to the trio.The story that unfolds thereafter is very well thought ...

This is a superb comedy movie I have ever seen. Paresh rawal at his best comedy along with akshay kumar and sunil shetty. Story line is not so important in this movie, it's the role palyed by these characters. Parel rawal is very mature actor and so is his role here. Akshay is good in comedy apart from action seen, as you can seen in this movie. Similarly sunil shetty apart from his usual muscle power roles, is good at comedy. Role of tabbu is average ...
