As a hardcore Kitty fan I looked forward to watching this with my neice (5). Though she loved it and insisted on watching disc one a further 5 times in a row, as an adult fan I wasn't really that enthralled.
Firstly, in the animation, Kitty has a mouth!! OK, a minor point, but can take some getting used to (yes, I am a bit sad, aren't I) and the animation is not of the highest quality.
The other thing I didn't like was the ... ...is wonderful for children. Each episode tries to teach something, from road safety, 'stranger danger' and similar themes, to good manners and social skills such as sharing, in an entertaining way. The 'message' of each episode is obvious (no subtlety here - annoying for adults, but good for young children). The stories are fairly well-written and often funny.
I would say if you are looking to entertain your little girl with something ... more

...Its just most girls find hello kitty amazing, i havnet wrote a review about the dvd, i mean what can i say, its an animated cartoon about hello kitty and her friends, not the most exciting thing in the world, but well like i sed its hello kitty so you just have to like it, if you are goin to buy hello kitty then i would consider a few thing...
